The factory was surprisingly lit with the lights looking brighter than even clan 3's lights. The building was definitely old, there was a spider web in every corner of the building. Luckily there were no spiders in sight.
Exploring more of the building I found multiple undeployed nukes which made it easy to come to the conclusion that this building was about 250 years old. The radiation was also most likely powering the lights to. I was even able to find the break room, which had a couch. Everything else was already looted which sucked but this place seemed safe enough so I think I'm gonna stay the night
Sadly I was already out of food and water so I needed to go into the forest to find something to eat and water that was safe to drink. It took me over an hour to even find some decroseberries and granted it wasn't the most filling, at least it tasted good. I also found some water on the way home. And having food for dinner and breakfast tomorrow if I ration everything out correctly. I headed back to the factory which was easy to spot because of the smoke.
Opening the door to the factory my life flashed before my eyes seeing a giant pill bug. Unlike the earthworms these are not gentle giants in fact they are one of the more dangerous animals out there in the wild. They one are incredibly fast (for there size) and two they eat anything in there way which could be me.
For now my main focus is just to stay out of its way. I shimmy my way around it and go back into the break room.
"Huh is someone there". I hear as I creak the door open. I stay as silent as I can because if all I know this guy could just kill me. "That's weird usually Dwayne is asleep right now, and can he even open that door" I hear as I hide behind the door.
"God someone is there, just come out I don't bite" he said. I stay in my position no moving at all. In my opinion better safe then sorry. " Hurry up in come in here before Dwayne wakes up, now he bites".
Hearing that really makes me debate weather I should go and confront him. I decided to go inside the break room, I mean you choose one guy or man eating bug. I think everyone would chose the guy.
Trying to sound like I haven't been there the whole time I say "hello who… are you". I walk into the break room to see this fairly buff man, he has black hair, brown eyes, and a tan skin color. His must defining feature though were his eyes which looked different then a normal person's. "Hi there, the name's Nudo" his voice sounds so much more menacing than it did when I was hiding behind the door.
"What brings you here" he says "ummm I just needed a place to stay and I thought this place was abandoned". "Really, with all that smoke" he raises his eyes at me. "Uhh" I was lost for words I had nothing for a defense. I mean it was pretty stupid of me to go into a building with the lights on and smoke coming out of the top. "Uhhh what" he responded with. "Well at least you didn't steal anything so you can stay the night. " Ohhh thank you sooo much, I really needed a place to stay".
Granted what I said was true I was suspicious of this guy, I mean he had what I thought were thousands of weapons. " Hey if you gonna keep staring at my weapons might as well take on for the road, something in the bronze category or lower" he said.
"Okay" I responded with. I look around the two categories I can choose from, those being bronze and dirt. Obviously I choose what I thought to be the best weapon there being the pistol. It was broken down and rusty though.
"Okay now that you got a weapon here's some rations once your done eating go to sleep or else" he said. I ate my rations and went straight to bed. I had no idea what would happen next would I live or die, it was kinda exhilarating. Went to sleep and pondered about what would happen tomorrow.
