On top of Ishtalica a cave as wide as 500 meters, there laid a Phoenix in its golden cave .
The reason for the cave being golden was because of a rare mixture of few minerals which can't be seen any ware in this current world .
The mixture consists of God metal Admantium , Dragon Obsidian and Pure Crystal Mithril and few more minerals . Though the alloys can be made artificially it would take years just to make 10 grams of the alloy and one cannot smelt it easily and even breaking it is one of the dreams of humanity .
"AaahhhhHHHH" , a Phoenix woke up from its slumber and casually went near the items laid in the cave . The items consist from seeds to armours , and sadly the phoenix just can't wear it as it was for not it to wear but for the lowly creatures it thinks of . The phoenix was at the end of its rope as it would soon begin it's rebirth , thus it was the time phoenix were vurnerable at , cause when attacked during it's rebirth the phoenix's constitution would be at the weakest in its life but when a person kills a phoenix at its vurnerable state they could gain the phoenix's body itself which increases magical affinity of random elements or even grow a new magic circuit which consists of phoenix flames .
It soon stores all the items which are in the cave inside it's spatial magic , as the items were special due to its ability to absorb mana from the surrounding without damaging the atmosphere .
These items or artifacts are one of its kind as most of them need magic crystals . The phoenix stored the items in its space magic due to the fear of Dragon Gods come out of no were and snatch these items as these items can make them comfortable due it's release of pure mana when needed .
*SCREEEEECHHHHHH* the phoenix stretches its wings , so it could do it's rebirth ritual .
The phoenix pulls a soft nest from its spacial storage , if one could see the nest they would assume it being a prickly nest but when touching or laying on it , the nest would be best bed one could ever ask for , with its white and black branches with gold linings on both the colours , looking stunningly beautiful .
The phoenix sits on top of the nest and it's fireey wings start to extend towards the whole cave , making the gold fire leak out from its entrance making it shoot out like with a combination of rocket thrusters . Making a beautiful scene for anyone who watches it . The ice near the cave and almost all the mountains near Ishtalica started to melt .
The flames start spitting out heavily and then surround the phoenix like a ball .
It never knew that there are people waiting for its soul to be at the weak state so to take it from it and make it as a sacrifice of a ritual for immortality .
*KABOOOM* *KABOOM* *BOOOOM* *SPARKLE - SPARKLE * * FYUNG * *ZITSUH* .......
And different sounds were heard as magic spells being rained down toward the cave .
The phoenix began to panic as it senses pure death energy as it has never seen such purity of it before and the bloodlust oozing out of 16 living beings in terrifying amount which made the magical beasts near Ishtalica withdrew themselves , many magical beast tribes moving away from fear .
Many new hatchlings died , eggs cracked , and many more beasts died .
The phoenix sensing the trouble it was in stoped it's rebirth process taking a toll on its body , all the elemental properties stopped working in the phoenix body and if anyone saw the phoenix in its state now , they would say it as a golden-red crow or similar to it .
Due to forcibly stopping it's ritual the enormous mana back fired make its circuit go haywire , and the phoenix began to bleed some golden blood from its mouth dripping down slowly .
The phoenix saw a group of people who were entirely abnormal and their combined mana capacity rivals the phoenix at its current state and it could also sense an artifact which made its senses go haywire .
It's instincts told it one thing the creatures in front of it are on a whole abnormal level , and the creatures did not attack it when it had a mana backlash making the phoenix think of two possibilities
1) Arrogantly and confidentially proclaiming that they had what it takes to take down the phoenix
or
2) Overconfident !!!!
