Chapter 5 - 4- Stuck in an uncanny situation

"Voce nao deveria estar aqui."

(You shouldn't be here)

I frown at her as I'm astounded at her choice of words. I don't even know this woman and yet she has the balls to tell me where I should be or shouldn't be? Could this day get any worse?

Feeling helplessly chocked up, I straighten up my back and face her like a tigress out after her prey. Where in fact, I actually feel like a terrified mouse on the inside. And it's not even my fault. I mean, I just had a mini panic attack for crying out loud. I already showed my weakness to the most arrogant guy outside, I'm not about to make the same mistake twice.

"And why, pray tell, is that?" Going into a full on defensive mode, I put my hands on my hips and frown at her even more.

"Ele vai te pegar tambem."

(He will get you as well)

I feel the blood draining from my face as soon as I hear her say that. Maybe it has something to do with the contract, or maybe it's not I'm just being paranoid. But for a very good reason, I'm scared to death as I hear those words.

A million questions run through my mind, but the one that stands out the most is, "Quem vai?" (Who will)

But much to my dismay, at that exact moment, I hear men shouting outside the door. There's a big commotion outside but I've got more pressing matters at hand. As soon as I look at the woman, I know something is terribly wrong.

She looks as white as a ghost. Her eyes look like they'll fall out of her eye sockets as she says, "Ele esta aqui."

(He's here)

As if on cue, all the rest of the girls start rushing here and there, inside the restroom. Every girl trying her best to find a single opening she can use to get away. After a minute or two of trying and talking gibberish, some girls start crying while the rest start shouting back at the men outside.

The men start pounding vigorously at the door now, trying to get it to open. Looking at this entire scenario unfolding before me, I am just stuck to the spot I've been standing at. I cannot move or speak as I think of sharing the same fate as these girls. Who knows what kind of a mess they're into?

I whimper as I think of how after five minute of signing a contract I didn't want to, I'm going to end up in the hands of some kind of a monster. The way these women are acting, he's clearly someone very dangerous. Someone I should keep ten miles aways from.

But then a crazy thought, once again, appears in my mind. What if it's actually Andre setting me up? Oh stop it Nina, you've already signed the contract, there's no need for a set up. I'm the queen of crazy thoughts.

I start panicking once again as sweat starts to appear on my forehead and my ears heat up. I barely have enough time to think over things when this woman suddenly grabs me by the arm and drags me across the restroom.

She opens a door and pushes me inside, "Diga as suas fontes, o cara que voce esta procurando nao esta longe, mas dentro."

(Tell your sources, the guy you're looking for is not far but within)

And just like that, she abruptly shuts the door in my face. I stand there in the darkness feeling claustrophobic. A loud bang erupts in the restroom and I can hear footsteps entering.

The women start shrieking as I can hear them being dragged out of here. A minute or two goes by and there's not a single woman left in the restroom. Just as I thought they're gone, I hear someone coming back inside.

Shutting my mouth with both of my hands to stop myself from breathing so loudly, I keep looking at the shadows under the door of this room. Silently praying to whatever god there is, that I get out of here alive.

Even finding Andre at this moment will be a blessing. I know how I said I hate his guts and I don't want to look at him anymore but I swear I feel like he's the one who can save me right now. I signed the contract for crying out loud.

My heart starts thumping so loudly that I'm sure the guy at the other end of the door can hear me. Tears start to fall and I am only aware of them when I feel the wetness on my hands.

The footsteps finally stop at the door of the room I'm in, and I'm sure that I'm going to end up being dead.

Looking at my surrounding frantically, for any kind of a weapon I can find, I settle on a broom stick. Removing my hands from my mouth, I give out a shaky sigh and slowly extend my arm towards my weapon of choice. Meanwhile, I can hear the guy hold the knob to the door.

Clutching the broom hard with my hand, I carefully lift it in the air, and without making a sound, I hold it close to my chest.

The knob turns and I literally feel my throat turning with it. My mouth goes dry and my legs feel numb. I lift the broom a bit higher and with both hands aim it at the door.

A click sound comes from the other end of the door and involuntarily I stop breathing. Slowly and deliberately, as if the door itself is mocking me, it opens up a teeny tiny bit and I squeeze my eyes shut ready to hit the first person that comes inside.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

The door is instantly shut back and I open my eyes feeling a bit relieved.

"Nothing, just checking if any of those gostosas are left behind."

(Hottie's)

"You yourself dragged the sixth one out." The second man tells the first one after I hear a smack.

"I'm coming I'm coming, sheesh. What's the hurry Eugene?" And then I hear another smack. Looks like this Eugene guy loves smacking his partners.

"What did I tell ya about calling out names? Be quick now. Boss is ready to leave."

After a second, I hear the door to the restroom close. Releasing a shaky breath, I quietly put the broom down and as slow as a sloth, afraid that I might accidentally make any sort of a noise, I turn the door knob and peek outside.

Once I'm sure no one's in here, I sigh with relief and rush outside. I have got to find the macho man and tell him about this whole drama. Where is he anyway? Isn't he wondering if I've run away by now? Shaking the time consuming thoughts away, I open the restroom door. And like before, I peek outside trying to be careful. Once I'm sure no one's there, I tip toe outside.

Stupid heels. Taking them off to avoid any kind of unnecessary racket, I step forward when I feel something very cold press against my right shoulder blade.

"Where do you think you're going, Missy?"
