Zeref slowly opened his eyes, with his ears ringing and his head feeling heavy, a white light engulfed his vision. His body was drained of energy and his self repairing armour was cracked in all places.
"It worked! It worked! Yes!"
Cheers of joy resounded as tens of people all wearing white lab coats jumped up and down in glee.
'What's this ruckus? Where am I?' Zeref groaned, getting up from his lying down position. His eyes slowly adjusted to the white light.
His eyes widened when he realised where he was. He was locked in a transparent cage, with dozens of people all looking at him happily.
He was in some sort of large lab facility, with dozens of high tech equipment connected through wiring everywhere. Whilst some of the people wearing white lab coats typed away, others observed him like he was some sort of specimen, writing down notes of his behaviour.
