Juno sat there in silence seeming to be overwhelmed by everything she had heard. After a few seconds she slowly looked back at the system helper and nodded. seeing her nod the helper gave her a quick smile. 'Good then from now on communicate with me through your thoughts.' Juno could hear the system helper's voice echo through her mind. 'Y-you can hear my thoughts!?' Juno asked in shock. 'Well... Yes to an extent. Unless you are actively trying to communicate with me I don't know what you're thinking. 'The helper explained to Juno. 'Oh okay... That's good.' Juno thought with a smile, suppressing a small giggle. 'I am only telling you this now because of your throat.' The helper explained further. 'Of course. Of course.' Juno replied this time not being able to avoid giggling.
Looking down at the cat sitting across from her she realized something. 'I don't even know what to call you... Do you have a name?' Juno asked with a curious look. 'I am merely here to help you accomplish your mission... My name isn't important but I suppose it would be good for you to have something to call me... For now just call me Cal okay?' Cal said looking up at Juno. 'Cal? I like it.' Juno expressed with a smile. 'What should I do next then cal..?' Juno asked unsure of how to proceed. 'The best thing you could do right now would be to escape this place. The outside world is a rough place but being in here is probably worse then it could ever be...' Cal said expressing his opinion. 'I should leave this place then..?' Juno question thinking about it further. 'You're probably right... Staying here doesn't benefit me at all... In fact I'm probably more likely to get killed if I stay here...' Juno said shivering as she remembered the man who slapped her. 'How would I escape though..? That man was so angry when he left... Theres no way that door isn't locked...' Juno said with a slightly concerned expression. 'Aarica caused trouble constantly, how could she not have a way to escape?' Cal said glancing at Juno as if this was an obvious conclusion.
'Ah... you're probably right cal...' Juno replied looking around the room in a fluster. With elegant unhurried steps Cal began to stroll around the room. Sniffing here and there before he approached the mirror. 'Interesting...' Cal mumbled for Juno to hear. 'What is it?' Juno inquired. "This mirror is really strange..." Cal mumbled examining the mirror further. "How is it strange..?" Juno asked curiously. "I... Can't quiet put my paw on it but there is definitely something not right about this thing..." Cal said glancing over to Juno. "Well a mirrors not going to be my ticket out of here..." Juno said with a pause. "Well... At least I wouldn't think it would be." She continued lightly touching her chin as she pondered. With a long stare cal scoffed and walked away from the mirror. "Aarica's magic is sealed and this mirrors to thin to hide anything... How could this lead to an escape route." Cal stated with a small sigh. "T-Thats true... But then where would it be?" Juno asked in a slightly disheartened tone. Looking towards Cal she waited for a response. The small black cat sat on the small bed staring back without a word.
"I guess you've given up trying to find the exit..." Juno said with a slightly bothered expression. "Well this is your mission. I've been assigned to help you but I shouldn't lead you by the hand in everything." Cal said breaking eye contact, seemingly avoiding eye contact. Juno couldn't help but give a weak smile in response. Looking around the walls she began to stare with great focus. Staring at the ground she noticed light scratching on the brick. It seemed to have been from friction leading her to believe the exit was in that area. With probing hands she began to fill up and down the wall. She felt around untill she noticed a difference in the brick. With some more probing she pulled a brick out of place. The missing brick showed a long hallway. 'This has to be the way to the exit!!!' Juno thought as her expression brightened. "Oh did you find something?" Cal inquired lifting his small head to look in her direction. "No help from you. But yes! Yes I did find something!!!" Juno said in excitment. "Great then we can get out of this disgusting place." Cal said jumping down from the bed. "uh... Yeah..." Juno said with a weak smile looking down at Cal. "What is it?" Cal asked looking up at Juno. "Well um... I was wondering if anyone would notice I'm gone..." Juno said looking back at Cal. "Well Aarica was mistreated. I wouldn't be surprised if no one visited her tomorrow. In fact it's very likely she will get no food for the next few days for leaving the room and causing trouble." Cal replied leaping up on Juno's shoulder. "Oh..." She mumbled in reply seeming a bit gloomy. "I truly don't understand why you make these strange expressions sometimes." Cal said stabilizing themself on her shoulder. After a moment of silence motionless, Cal continued. "What are you waiting for? Let's get out of this disgusting room."
