Ugh... even though I'm so tempted to read it... My head still feels like a mess... Must be the heat. It's so... Why did I ever have a wish to be an omega...
I headed straight to the bed as I hid the book beneath my pillow.
I'll... think about it... tomorrow...
***
I wake up with a startle yet my body felt weakened. I pinch the bridge of my nose and glanced around at the unfamiliar area. The room was huge and foreign. It wasn't a dream...
Geez, it's basically the size of my entire apartment just for a bedroom.
I shift my legs in bed before frowning. What is this uncomfortable sensation?
I pulled down my pants to see some dried up substance in my underwear and pants which made them really uncomfortable. Is it because of the heat? But even so... from what I read... wouldn't it still be... ugh... nevermind.
I grabbed some fresh clothes and cautiously exited the room, looking around as I recalled telling the cleaner to leave the food outside. However, it was nowhere to be found and my clothes felt really icky to be in.

Finally setting in the bathtub, I leaned back and sighed. Was the heat that short? I don't feel anything today.
Huh. Maybe those stories just like to write up a whole fiasco on that regard. Omegaverse stories are just---
"Young master Thorne, the young master of Richmont has arrived."
Woah! That gave me a shock! I thought I was alone here!
"Huh uh... uh... send him in!" I replied in a fluster before my head could process what I was saying.
"Ah, wait I meant the living ro--" I stood up to stop the cleaner from leading the guest in but was a rad slow as the door for the bathroom door swung open.
"Normally, people would be seated in the living room. It's the first time I was invited straight to a bathroom." a tall man leaned on the door frame as I was left speechless.
He had a tall stature. His golden hair was slicked back though some loose strand of hair dangled to the side. He wore a pompous and arrogant smile as his piercing red eyes landed on mine.
"..."
"Hmm? Quite a sight, I have to say." the man smiled as I felt his eyes studying my body.
Wait...
"Ah! G-get out!" I shrieked, sitting down into the tub as I tossed a towel in his direction.
"Nothing much to look at though. Why are you acting like a damsel? Didn't you invite me in here yourself?" the man smiled as he tilted my chin to look up at him.
"It was a slip of the tongue."
"You're acting quite differently, Darien. It's rather... beguiling." the man smiled as his face was so close to mine.
My cheeks flushed red and my mind started to spin. What is this scent?!
"F-fuck off! Hello! Please invite our guest to the living ro--!"
"So quick to chase me out? Don't think I don't know."
"K-know what?"
"I smelt an omega here."
Eh?! T-this may be bad...
"I-I have no idea what you're talking about."
"Is that so? Well, it doesn't matter. I'll wait for you in the living room then."
I stared in silence as the man left, shutting the door behind him. My mind began to race as I held firmly onto the bathtub.
Did he find out? I'm... N-no... even if he did, so what? He isn't interested in me. Why is he even here? The male lead.
***
"State your business." I sat in the seat across him, folding my leg over the other as I imagined all the high ranking people in K-dramas.
"Hmm? And you were acting all cute earlier." the man purred.
"I don't have time for games." I blurted out as I simply wanted him to leave.
"I was just told to meet you and exchange a few pleasantries. Are the Thorne not interested in future business alliances anymore?" the man smiled cynically as I gripped the handle of the chair.
"Would our company alliances be easily ruined with a failed pleasantry... Perhaps it was just that fragile." I took a slow sip from my cup as I eyed him.
My head is beginning to spin. I better drive him out quickly... The situation is looking rather grim.
"You're rather bold. Unlike the Darien I know of."
What is he trying to accomplish? Why does he keep saying that? Does he suspect something?
"... I'm feeling rather ill... Perhaps that is why I'm acting a little differently."
Better to play it safe and avoid all further contacts.
"Shall I nurse you to health?" the man grabbed my wrist as my eyes darted to his.
"..."
Shit! Why is his grip so strong? This hulk!
"That won't be necessary. Please... let go. Tsk!" I lowered my gaze, only for him to tighten his grip.
"Consider it an apology for my behaviour in the bathroom."
Darn! Can't you just take a hint and leave?!
"I really--"
Eh? My body... It's... Why is it so hot? Wasn't... Wasn't the heat over...?
"Upsie-Daisy. You alright? You look flushed." the man held me up as I had nearly fallen over.
"I... I'm fine... I told you... I'm sick... I don't want you catching it... Please for the love of God, leave."
... ... OH MY GOD DID I SAY IT OUT LOUD?!
"... Seems like you really are ill."
"... ..."
"I pray for your speedy recovery. Darien." the man grinned as he loosened his grip on my hand and dropped me into my seat.
I watched as he left but the spinning in my head was growing unbearable. I struggled to get to my room and quickly locked the door as I glanced out the window and noticed him staring back up at me.
Wh-what...?
Without saying anything, he got into his car and drove off. My racing heart finally calmed down as I slumped on the bed.
What the heck.... What did he do earlier...?
There was this strong smell... uh... my head... That bastard... he acted so condescendingly... Better not rile him up though.
He was already acting like a psycho. Cain Addles Richmont!
