Just as I finally snuggled into a comfortable position, Cain's phone rang. He moves to answer it, his hand stroking my head as he sat up. I spare a brief glance in his direction before rolling to the other corner of the bed. Unlike me, he always seems stressed, what with the sour expression on his face and all.
"I'll grab my stuff first. You can rest here for now." Cain ruffled my hair before I felt the weight lift up from his side of the bed and the sound of my door opening.
I sit up and touched my head, a little lost in thought before I decide to get out of bed. I head over to my desk as I glance at the photo frame that lied face down on the desk.
Darien... I wonder how long I'll be here... I'm sure he misses his friends and family too.
