The both of us eventually stop for a meal at a quiet Chinese restaurant as I curiously glanced at Cain. The fact that the restaurant one of those fancy stereotypes he'd normally bring me to was one thing, but the fact that he seemed comfortable enough to eat in a run down looking shop was another.
Doesn't really seem to match with his image...
"I saw a signboard promoting an indoor pool and waterpark on the way here. Interested? Maybe after all that watching, you could finally put your skills to work." Cain commented as I raised an eyebrow, still a little hung on the fact that he was comfortable in this shop.
It's not to say that I couldn't stand eating here, it's more of the fact that... I'm beginning to feel more comfortable with him as he now feels... More relatable...
