Chapter 1 - Sudden Transmigration

What is that sweet smell? It's so strong its becoming unpleasant... Ugh... Why is it so hard to move...?

I groaned as I blinked my eyelids, struggling to open them as my bleary eyes took a moment to focus. In front of me a large and dark figure loomed, it's features unknown as I narrowed my eyes to make sense of what was happening.

"You're so cute. Letting out such a sweet and pungent scent. How vulgar, let me help relieve you." a man's low voice whispered hungrily as I felt the colour drain from my face.

His large hands trailed down my torso to my waist as he ran his hands up my inner thighs. His ragged breath warmed my ear as I frowned in disgust.

What the fuck?

I kicked him right in his nuts as I shoved his heavy body away, rushing out of wherever I was and dashing into a crowd of people before I fell to my knees. My palms scratched the rough gravel of the road as my legs lost whatever strength it used to have.

"Ow..." I groaned as I slowly got up, my pupils constricting from the astonished yet cold gazes from the people around me.

What's going on? Why do they seem so... weird...?

It wasn't until I heard an angry grumble of someone complaining of an omega stench from a distance that I realised what was happening. My hands shook as reality began to set in.

My eyes darted around as I tried to search for a familiar landmark, yet everything seemed nothing short of foreign. The usual skyscrapers of the city were different and had a slightly more rustic feel.

I'm not in my own world. Where... where is this...

Everything was getting more distant as my head begun to spin from the cold gazes of the passerby. It wasn't until a timid looking boy held me up by my waist brought me to an empty alley that I my reasoning snapped back to full attention.

"You! What do you think you're doing?!" I slapped away his hands as I distanced myself from him in the narrow alley we were in.

"... I'm sorry for startling you. Don't worry... I'm an omega. Like you." the boy said as he lowered his shirt collar to show me the choker around his neck.

"..."

"You can have some of my pills. It won't work immediately so I would suggest heading back home first." the boy said as he rustled through his pocket and placed a light blue tablet in my hand.

As he turned to leave, I grabbed the hem of his shirt to stop him from leaving.

"Hieeekk?!" the boy seemed terrified, as if he did not expect such a reaction.

"I don't know where my house is. Bring me to yours." I said as I swallowed the tablet, thinking that it was better than having another disgusting incident happen again.

"E-eh?! But... but..."

"We're both omegas, right? What seems to be the problem?" I asked as I cornered him against the wall.

From this position, he seemed even smaller than he already was as he was cowering in fear. His petite figure seemed to match the image I had of the protagonist of a certain omegaverse manga I was reading.

...

...

...

Waittt~

I leaned forward as I grabbed his bag and glanced at the name written on it. Wow. Shit. Of all things.

This timid kid who is literally on the verge of tears is the protagonist of the manga, 'If love was a cage'.

That manga was terrible. I really hated the male lead. I felt so terrible for the protagonist, having to be a pair with an egotistical, psychotic and overbearing alpha who is sick in the head. Just the thought of it makes my blood boil!

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please spare me today!" the protagonist plead as he covered his head.

I knitted my brows and ran my fingers through my hair as I pondered what to do in this situation. From the plot of the story, he is bound to meet his fated pair on the first day of school.

Honestly, my mind felt like it was about to explode. Not to mention how this smell is making me dizzy.... Fuck... I don't have much strength left to even stand.

But seeing as he had been a target for bully due to his small stature, having an alpha amongst alpha take interest in him made him feel more confident. Yet... that was the beginning of his real hell.

What to do... what to do...

"I'll... give you my allowance... I don't have that much this week... I'm sorry..."

"I wonder what goes through your head. I just told you to bring me home. Do you want to attract more unwanted alphas?" I narrowed my eyes at him as I grabbed his shirt collar and fished his ID card from his wallet.

I rolled my eyes at his constant shrieking but dragged him along as we got into a cab. I told the driver to get moving to his house as I glared at him, reminding him to watch himself or I would beat him up.

***

As we finally got off the cab, I was met with a huge house. My eyes twitched as I could hardly believe someone so timid was so loaded.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I glanced at him as I noticed his knees hitting against one another.

"Why are you so scared of me?! Despite my looks, I'm fucking nice, alright?!" I grumbled as I grabbed him by his wrist and headed for the intercom.

"Press it." I glared at him as it was the only way to get him to do anything.

"Okay, okay." he panicked as he told the people inside to open up.

After a few minutes of waiting, the gates opened and a stern looking man exited the huge mansion as he bowed.

"Master Reginvild, what brings you back home at this hour? ... Could it be you had your heat?"

"I... I..." the protagonist panicked as he hesitantly glanced at me.

"He did, I brought him home. Why don't you let us in?" I grinned smugly as the man said nothing and stood to the side, letting the both of us in.

***

"What a stickler for rules. How do you even breathe under his supervision?" I sighed as I undid my necktie and flopped myself onto his bed.

Wow. So comfy.

"Uh... uhm..."

"Okay. First things first. I'm Rebena. Rebena Black. Get used to my name, cause I'm going to be hanging around with you." I said as I sat crossed leg on his bed, studying his expression.

A long silence ensued before I finally heard a peep from him.

"I'm... Aaron... Reginvild..."

"Great. Good to know." I said as I lied back onto his bed.

Somehow... it felt so tiring... everything....

***

My eyelids blinked open as I was met with an unfamiliar ceiling. I pinched the bridge of my nose and groaned as I leaned to my side before jumping to a sitting position.

My head feels heavy...

"Gah! Geez! How long have you been sitting there?!" I gasped as Aaron was sitting in the corner of the room watching me.

"... Awhile..."

"Bullshit! That was so terrifying! Well I mean.... it is your room so... I guess it's up to you what you want to do but... ugh...."

I climbed off the bed as I sat in front of him. He didn't seem to be too wary this time, but it was likely because we were in his domain so he was more comfortable.

"You didn't leave me despite being so terrified of me." I blurted the words on my mind without thinking too much of it as Aaron flinched.

"You're a pretty kind guy." I smiled as I patted his head, only to notice my hands were wrapped in bandages.

"Oh... You also cleaned my wounds... Thanks." I smiled only to find his cheeks growing really red.

"A-are you okay?"

"Yes. I'm sorry I was so skeptical of you earlier... you seem like a... Nice guy too..." Aaron said as I felt my face beginning to pale again.

"N-no. You can't do that."

"Huh?"

"Don't trust someone so easily! What if I'm a bad guy?!" I gasped as I grabbed hold of his shoulders and shook it.

"Uhm... I..."

"You're too sweet to be caught by someone bad who makes use of your gullibility!"

"Eh?"

"T-too much?" I laughed awkwardly as I pulled back from him.

Aaron blinked innocently at me as I found myself entranced by his eyes. He had round wide eyes and a cute face, if I knew better, he was likely bullied not out of spite but because those people secretly liked him.

But bullying is bullying. If they want the person they like to like them back, they should be kind to them.

"R-Rebena..."

"Huh? Yes?"

"I couldn't move because... uhm.... nevermind." Aaron blushed as he hugged his knees.

I furrowed my brows while thinking of possible reasons as to why he was acting that way when I remembered that he was exposed to my heat. According to the manga, he was unusually sensitive to the pheromones emitted during a heat or when an alpha was tempting him.

"I-I think I'll head home for the day." I chuckled awkwardly as I got up and headed for the door, only for it to be locked and Aaron cornering me from behind.

"Aaron...?" I leaned my back against the door as Aaron held onto my shirt, his leg rubbing against my inner thigh as his breath grew more erratic.

"Didn't you say... you had nowhere to go? Don't leave... me..."

Uwah! Such a sweet scent! Also, when did I say I had nowhere to go?!

"Do you... Still have anymore pills left?" I asked as I held his shoulder.

"I do but... I'm usually administered a different suppresent when in heat." Aaron said as I felt him pressing himself on my thigh.

"J-just stay here. Try to relieve the symptoms a little first." I said as I tugged him and sat him down on the bed before searching for his pills.
