The boy was special.
I've never encountered someone who gave me this much hope throughout my long, repetitive lifespan.
At first glance, he seemed weak. There were thousands of people stronger than him, but he indeed had potential. More potential than any others I have encountered. It was a given for others to think of him as nothing more than a regular.
But they were wrong.
He had the potential to surpass all others. He was different from others. He had the potential to become a god.
But he refused to take his righteous seat.
Although he was still young, he was also foolish.
A fool who couldn't understand his potential—yet.
If he had the right guidance, he could be more. Something that exceeds the limitation of filthy, weak creatures called "humans."
A being that could create a utopia between the humans and the gods, uniting them. How divine would that be?
I couldn't help but smile at the thought of what the future held—the day where the world will be perfect.
"I'm expecting much from you, Reo Miyazaki."
