When she arrived there, she was surprised at the massive size of the castle. The castle's exterior was more detailed than what it looked like from the outside.
She was asked to enter as a representative of the Demon Duke in order to infiltrate. She wasn't given any more information regarding the situation. She only wanted to repay him for all he had done for her. It would only make sense to trust an intellectual no name person this much.
'Now that I think of it, wasn't I quite shady when I first appeared?' she thought to herself as she walked down the hallway to the Throne Room.
There were no guards to be seen except for at the entrance. As she entered the throne room, she could see a figure that looked like a young man resting on the throne. He had black short hair and a rather handsome face. Occasionally he could be seen trembling.
'What sort of nightmare is he having? Can demons sleep? And get nightmares?' she thought as she slowly began to close the distance between them.
'Since he's sleeping, this should work right?' she thought as she touched his head and began casting a race specific charm spell that allows her to control the dream of the target.
As it activated, she could feel herself losing control of her body. She then passed out only to appear in front of a red orb in some formless dimensions where clouds were as far as they eye can see. Clearing the area around the orb of the black clouds that were surrounding it, she embraced it as what her instincts told her to do so.
Putting clouds of other colors, she left the dimension. When she returned to her body, she could hear him calling her name in his dreams confirming that she had succeeded.
Throwing a piece of coal out of the window as a signal, she hid behind the throne.
---
Seeing the signal looks like she has done her part. Looks like I have quite the eye for talents.
「Everyone! Move out!!」
I shouted out.
Given the flow of events, everything should be going according to my plan now. Oh, Demon Lord please forgive me but I cannot let others view you as someone weak and incompetent. As per your wish I shall carve this kingdom of yours into a prosperous one no matter how it affects my reputation.

'I never realised that dreams and emotions were such tangible yet beautiful.' She thought to herself before she waited for Lapis to arrive. Whilst yawning, she could hear the door creaking open and feel the familiar aura emitted by Lapis. Awkward silence filled the room for a whole minute before she decided to interrupt it.
「Are you done with your part? 」
「Yes. 」
Awkward silence continued yet again for a while before he continued.
「I will not forget of your aid in this matter. 」
「You better not. 」She added jokingly.
Awkward silence my old friend, I have come to meet you again.
'So, this is what happens when 2 people who do not know what to talk about come together.' they thought in unison.
'I really wish I could fly. I guess I'll have to look into this.' she thought to herself before asking for Lapis to teleport her to the mansion as she didn't anything else to do. Naturally, Lapis had no other work for her and teleported her to the mansion as per her request.
Thus began her life as a freelancing researcher.
With Lapis as the new Demon King, people who wanted to have a word with him would have to go to the castle so she had a lot of freedom and time to spend. While bad rumours were being spread about Lapis by himself, without a doubt, the country was developing at a very fast pace. While Lapis wasn't aware that she had memories of her past lives, her help was very much needed for the prosperity of the demon race. Not just to relief his suffering with her skills as a succubus but her consultation was also a huge help. Succubus themselves were very rare, in fact there were only 6 in the kingdom including her. While finding them would be easy, getting in contact with one that would provide aid as she did with her proficiency and secrecy would definitely be harder.
'Now then, now shall begin my research.' thought she as she prepared a dozen of Mana Potions. It was quite expensive but needed.
Flowing mana to her hands, let it seep out before controlling it and turning it into a ball and igniting it.
'Observation one, my magic has become more powerful.' she noted it down in case she would forget after all her brain was one that rivaled that of a gold fish in terms of important stuff.
Playing around with the fireball she noticed that she did not feel the heat as much as when she was a human.
She then created another one and shot a wild beast she had asked Lapis to obtain. It survived with no serious injuries. She then casting the same spell, fired it at a bird she saw flying as it drew its last breath.
`Observation two, different races have different resistance against attacks of different types. ` This should have been really expected but it really was surprising perhaps it was because it was also her resistance that had increased.
The fireball she had left floating in order to note down her observations was then pulled to her palms then fired at the red sky. The difference between the one she created at the human realm and the demon realm was literally a difference between realms. The one she recently created had far more range, had more firepower and was roughly 18% faster.
`Observation three, different races have different proficiency with magic. ` Was then added to the notebook that looked far from ordinary with its gold edges and details and its crimson body. The pages were black and she was using a magic tool to write on it.
She had been going without food for 3 days and she was still at her peak strength, no changes in her light, fair complexion nor her assets or her beautiful red hair that was bright enough to make the red sky pale in comparison. She didn't even need to write the last observation that was clear as day to her. She had no use for the mana potions she prepared unlike when she was a human. She was currently only 3 years old and her strength was leagues higher than when she was thrice that age as a human. The final observation was so clear that she had no need to note it down. Upset by that realization, she decided to head back while it constantly echoed in her head;
"Humans are weak."
