She was going to die,

No one could know what happened, but Althea's secret should be hidden forever. Her death was a secret that she never wanted to come out of. Althea removed Qing Long's hands from her cheeks a second later, and mumbled ferociously, "No one will be annihilated by my death. No one... will suffer from grief once my body turned into a cold one." 

Althea panted, her breath was escaping from the small gap in between her lips. She was hesitating to say something further, as it might cause yet another misunderstanding that could lead to the rise of her anxiety level.
