The Heir watched his skin dripping with sweat, his eyes wide open as even his eyelids struggled to hold their shape. Without losing his focus for a second, he fixed his eyes on one spot to feel the fire on his face, breath, skin, internal organs, and blood.
In his mind, he watched over and over again what he experienced in the trap that the Earth Dragon had fallen into. He, too, was scorching from the fire attacks; right now, Mel was having trouble maintaining his body integrity due to the heat in the hollow he had entered.
The Earth Dragon was finally out of trouble, thanks to the power he inherited from his mother and the protection of the Dark Element, but that wasn't possible for Mel. First, his legacy did not include the Earth Dragon's legacy, and second, he had no intention of bypassing the baptism of Fire Energy using Dark Energy.
