The Academy Officers with bronze badges on their chests were out hunting, scouring the borders of the Sunshine Forest in pairs to catch the students who had fled from their place of charge. The sun-warmed lands were cold, and the wind that swept through the tree branches was unfriendly.
"How long are we going to walk like this? What if they ran away?"
The woman, who wanted to warm her cold hands with the breath coming out of her mouth, followed the footsteps of the man walking a few steps ahead of her. As if walking in the cold when they should have been in their warm beds wasn't enough, a thick layer of mist had surrounded them.
