"Raise your head. When I talk to you, you will look at me!"
The Academy Leader was not in his usual residence. After the Ascension Arena struggle, he spent the night in the Near Circle. In the small one-story house surrounded by dense trees, close to the borders of the Heart of the Academy, he was talking, looking at the younger of the two women he had confronted.
"Deborah, do you know why I gave you the authority to rule the Far Circle?"
The red-haired woman tried to avert her emerald green eyes, but she would always come back to the same spot due to the Academy Leader's orders. She didn't answer the question, and she continued her silent wait.
"You should at least have a guess. Having your elder sister the Fighting Division Leader, your credibility, your inability to betray me, maybe you are the best choice for the job!"
