Hundreds of wild creatures waiting for one step ahead of the entrance greeted the silence that spilled out of the cave. Their eyes were bloodshot, their mouths drooling with sharp teeth, and their bodies were ready to leap forward at any moment. The creatures supposed to attack each other under normal circumstances had their eyes on the cave and didn't seem to care about anything else.
They were able to stand in the same place without any difference in strength; the precious source just a few feet away was almost fascinated by them. Some dashed forward to lick the blood that had made it to the entrance of the cavern, stopped by an invisible barrier, but they still did not stop trying. They were after the sparkling red liquid as if they were longing for a sip of water in the desert.
