Red sparks flew into the air as the flaming longsword struck the other sword that was about to plunge into Mel's heart. Gorgana took a step back, and Edgan stepped in front of his friend, creating a wall of fire that could defend the two of them.
The repulsed woman seemed frozen, watching the two youths without moving a step. Then she started laughing, their increasingly hysterical laughter torturing the ears of more than a hundred people who filled the space.
"Nice, very nice! Abelionni didn't really come back empty-handed this time!"
Then the black sword disappeared; Gorgana turned around and began walking with strides that were unexpectedly large for her short stature.
"Elida, the Academy Leader, is waiting for us. How long will you linger?"
