There was no answer. His hands were in dragon claw shape as Mel walked by, hiding his lover behind his large body. After taking a few more steps, the figure of the shadow standing at the doorstep was slowly revealed. It was a man.
"It is me, Kasper!"
Mel's whole body stiffened, and he noticed the trembling of the hands wrapped around his waist. Kristin was afraid. The burly young boy took a deep breath and came in front of his house by taking big steps. He saw that the person waiting there was indeed Kasper, the Second Great's grandson.
He was standing at the entrance with a brooch on the chest of his red fighter's suit, with a flattened nose in the middle of his freckled white face and with his nicely combed hair. Realizing that the others knew him too, the young man stepped forward, and his movements timid as unusual.
"You don't have to be afraid. I just came to talk!"
