There was no way they could not have gotten drunk on the morning breeze since they had been drinking a lot. As the sun's rays pressed on their eyelids, they could not stand it anymore and surrendered to sleep.
Accustomed to short, restful naps, Mel kept his eyes closed more than usual this time, perhaps because he had been deprived of the pleasure of sleeping outdoors for a long time. If Edgan hadn't woken up and shaken him, perhaps he would have stayed in bed for a longer period of time where they had come from.
"Get up, drunk Herbologist. The open air and a good night's sleep have whetted my appetite; let's have something to eat!"
After being shaken, Mel panicked for a brief moment, perhaps for a moment, and couldn't help answering the call of a familiar voice.
"I don't know why; I'm hungry as a wolf too! There's a bakery that Kristin and I go to all the time, so let's wake up ours and go there together!"
