Constantly, something was passing through the thick roots in the ground and flowing towards the plant standing on the pedestal. The pedestal, surrounded by knotty roots, suddenly rose a meter.
Mel took no action other than raising his hands to protect himself from the stone fragments falling from the cave's ceiling. He seemed like he didn't want to interrupt this merging incident.
The plant with thick roots and green flowers was merging. As the pedestal rose once more, Mel became utterly sure.
