Chereads / Heir of the Dragon / Chapter 24 - Chapter 23

Chapter 24 - Chapter 23

By nodding, Sivo said 'yes.' His body trembled violently as he was lying naked on the floor. He didn't seem scared. It was rather like the restlessness of a fly trapped in a jar and had the chance to fly out for the first time.

The bedridden boy observed Mel; as he calmly aligned the items, he took them out of his ring. There were pots, glass jars, and bowls on the floor of the room.

"I have to do some preparations. Try to chew that porridge of medicine!"

Mel stuffed the slime lump of medicine into the bedridden boy's mouth. While he was trying to chew it hardly, Mel opened a few pots and placed some plants in the deep bowl.

"I will prepare a few healing herbal recipes. Until that, the medicine you are chewing will start to show its effect. A wave of fire will burst from inside out. Don't be afraid!"

The big boy was making some explanations to his friend, who was slowly getting blushed. But his hands were not empty either. He was crushing the plants with the help of his clawed hands.

Would you like to be the heir of a power that dates back to the beginning of the world? Mel was a skinny boy living in a mountain village. Although his abilities were limited, he was happy and spent his days experiencing peace in the forest until that day came. His relationship with the older man who lived in

Hearing the crumbling sounds of the plants inside the container, Sivo could not hold himself back for long.

"You are a Physical Transformer, aren't you?"

There was a slight hint of hesitation in his voice as he asked excitedly.

"I'm not working on a technique the way you described. But my hands indeed have some features!"

Mel explained as much as necessary without going into too much detail, and the bedridden boy did not take the matter further.

After a while, the reactions that Mel mentioned began to occur. Sivo's skin turned into a dark color like black fire. After five minutes, dark black fluids began to flow, first from his ears, then from his nose and mouth.

"Very good, the pus is coming out!"

Before the recent developments made the bedridden teenager panic, Mel said what was necessary.

"Now, it's time to wrap you!"

Suddenly a long pile of cloth appeared in the middle of the room. Mel was staring at the writhing young man. Then he began to pour water into the mixture in the large deep bowl. The water was so bright and lively that it glowed even with the slightest light in the room.

"Mel, what is this?"

He put his forefinger to his lips and asked him to be quiet, clearly leaving the explanation part behind.

He soaked and smeared the thin and long cloths lying on the floor into the slurry mixture formed in the bowl. The next stop for the material he prepared here was the bedridden child's body.

He was bandaging slowly and carefully, covering the whole body by preparing one fabric after another.

After an advertent work, within two hours, Sivo turned into a mummy. His whole body was bandaged except for his mouth, nose, and eyes.

"That's it from me. The rest depends on you. But with this ambition, I'm sure you will achieve what you want!"

Seeing that the person he was calling out fainted, Mel began to laugh by himself. Poor Sivo could not handle that much.

"Grandpa, every day I realize that I didn't know you at all. Dragon claws, herbal concoctions, medicine pellets, and most importantly the Energy Palace in me. Who were you and what will I turn into?"

While in deep thoughts, Mel watched the boy he placed on the bed that he had cleaned. What he was thinking in the corner he snuggled down was unknown.

The night was destined to return to morning, and the first stop of the Guard who was about to leave home for a new guard day would be his son Sivo's room. When he pushed the door to open, it opened easily. His eyes looked for the guest who wanted to spend the night with them. But he could not find him.

"Dad, is that you?"

Can turn towards the sound coming from the bed. When he saw the state of his son, he jumped like a tiger which lured its prey. After he pulled the cover with his hand, Sivo's whole body appeared in front of his eyes.

"What happened to you?"

A hand appeared in front of the guard, who tried to take off the bandages in panic. Even though that hand did not rise so high to stop him, it was enough to raise a hand span from the bed.

"Sivo, you are moving?"

At that moment while his eyes were on his son's hand, the Guard with a large mustache fell on the floor like a puppet whose ropes were cut off.

"Not quite like that, but being able to move my hand a little after a year has made me very happy too!"

The bedridden boy was calm. His mother entered the room upon the noise while his father was on the floor. Unable to understand the scenery, the woman was struck at the doorway.

"Sivo, my son! What's going on?"

When the guard recovered a little, he asked the most logical question to ask.

"I'll tell you from the beginning. But first, you sit down too!"

The young boy, who made his parents sit in front of him, told what happened after Mel entered his room last night. He also admonished his family not to tell that anyone.

"When did Mel leave?"

The guard seemed to chase after the boy who left the house while they were sleeping and then thank him. But his son objected to this idea.

"Dad, he must have some secrets. He was neither a Soul Cultivator nor a Physical Cultivator, but now I'm sure he was very powerful!"

When his son's words were finished; the Guard, who put his hand on the small table next to him to stand up, touched a large pouch. He ignored it at first, but before five seconds had passed, he held it with excitement.

He opened it up quickly. His eyes were glowing. Twelve cores of wild creatures, a piece of paper, and the seemingly worthless ring fell out of it when he turned it upside down over the table.

The attention of the family was on the creature's core. The colorful crystals were almost like dancing on the old wooden table. The spoils that Sivo had struggled to obtain, which almost killed him last year, were looking at them.

"It must be Mel. He left a note too. Dad, what are you waiting for, read now!"

The bedridden boy had traces of gratitude in his voice. While saying the name 'Mel', he was like calling out to a being superior to him.

"Sivo, I've done my best. In a month, you'll return to the state before you were injured. From now on, it is all about how much you want to be a Physical Cultivator!"

"Brother Guard, thank you very much for opening your house to me. Auntie, the food you made was the most delicious thing I have eaten in two and a half years. You are good people. I know you helped me charitably with no thought of personal gain, but I still want you to accept what's inside the ring."

When the letter of three lines was finished, everyone was in tears. The Guard slowly put the ring on his finger and began to search inside.

"It can't be! This can't be real!"

The man, who became numb after the things he saw one after another, exclaimed in excitement. His voice made all the furniture in the house, which was small like a matchbox, vibrate.

"Can, don't scare me!"

When his wife sitting on the ground jumped to her feet in panic, the Guard grabbed her by the arms and began to dance. He was clenching her wife by her waist, holding her up and revolving her around.

"You have to see what's inside the ring!"

It took a few minutes until he calmed down, but the smile that settled on Can's face did not shrink even a millimeter.

"First of all, Sophia; we don't have to live in this house anymore. As of today, we're going back to our old house!"

Seeing his wife staring at him with disbelief, the Guard handed him the pouch that appeared out of nowhere. The middle-aged woman wanted to take it calmly, but the pouch was heavier than she expected. As it slipped from her hand and fell to the ground, the yellow things inside it were scattered around.
