The sound of someone knocking on my door was heard and I watched the maid open it as one of the other maids was busy braiding my hair. I smiled at the sight of the being I hadn't seen since our return. "It is good to see that you are alive and well Prince Ash." I said and he smiled at me. "Ladies please do excuse us for a moment." He said the maids bowed before leaving.
I rose a brow at the instruction as he usually never did that. He always spoke so freely around them and now, it seemed as though things had changed. "What is on your mind that you wish to share with a mundane?" I joked and he smiled at that. I had gotten used to that smile, he was always so stiff and so formal but when he was around me it was impossible to not make him at least smile.
