A ring echoed throughout the room as we entered the room, alerting the owner that there was a customer. A woman who seemed to be in her late fifties came from a side door that was inside the room and gave us a big smile.
"Welcome!" she greeted excitedly as though we were her first customers. Her face and hands seemed to have a few wrinkles as she wiped them on a white cloth and put it over her shoulder.
"Luci!" Peila greeted with excitement as she rushed forward and pulled the woman into a bear hug. The two women's embrace caused eyebrows to rise as we watched them speak with such enthusiasm. "How do they know each other?" I whispered to Quin as we watched them from afar.
