My heart pinched at those words as I knew that I did an awful thing taking away her sight but I had always thought that I was helping her by doing so. Seeing the bodies pile up had caused her too much worry, too much pain, and that had led to the boys losing their own sister. A sister that they didn't even know about, so why not help lessen everything by taking away one aspect.
