Recap:
The air that came into the room was cold. The kind of cold that could leave one shivering if there was no source of heat around. To make matters worse the cold only seemed to be getting worse and the last blow of wind was harsh blowing out all the candles in the room.
A body would suffer in this cold. The mundane could die in this cold but for some reason this body didn't feel anything at all. So when her eyes faltered opened, everything immediately cleared and it felt like she could see and breathe a thousand times better.
Pushing herself out of bed, she walked to the window and closed it, then turned only to stop mid way in the act as she locked eyes with the mirror. The reflection having stunned her, she looked younger, she looked slightly different but she could still see herself. She reached to touch the mirror but it cracked and she was quick to pull her hand back, not wanting it to damage again.
