Recap:
"We will get you two sorted, don't worry my husband is gone with my sons but they will be back." She said and I shook my head as I took a step back. "Where are you going?" she asked. "You cant abandon your child!" she yelled at me and I felt my throat squeeze as I knew that this child would be safe but the one within me, wouldn't.
"Please," she tried again, "Let me help you and assure you that everything will be okay. The towns are not safe and the alarm bells have rung. Please stay here, at least, until the bells stop ringing." She reasoned. I came forward and she smiled, seemingly relieved that I was changing my mind but if only she knew. I leaned forward and kissed the baby's forehead. "Soon," I whispered and stepped back.
