"Say yes to me?" he said and she let out a shaky breath. "Say yes to me," he repeated, wanting to hear the sound of her voice at that very moment. "No," she growled and before I knew it, I felt a slap on my face and she held the blade higher pushing me back a bit more. "That doesn't work on me prince, sorry but not sorry," she said and before I could say anything, the door was pushed open.
"Oh, my instinct was right. You are here and so is he." They heard and turned to see Ash enter through the door. "Pardon me, my king, I just realized I need to change my guards because of their incompetence but I will be sure to do that later on within the days to come," Ash said to the king then looked at the mundane whose blade was pressed up to the king's neck.
