Everyone sprang into action; the empire began to empty as cries came out from people. The empire shook with such force that lights went off, dust came from the roof and fire started in different sections, we were under attack. When I looked back, Armani and Akeem were gone. I would deal with that later. For now, I wanted to kill.
"Aria. Aria. Aria!" she heard and quickly jumped up from fright. Her heart was racing as she looked around and for a second, all she could see were shadows. Shadows of horsemen and the very characters she had read from the book. They stood all in steadfast stances in her room, all facing Silver with weapons.
Silver looked worried as his eyes met mine. "Calm down." He whispered and took a step forward, only to be pushed back quickly by the shadow. His eyes glowed slightly as he faced the shadow and took a step forward, causing the shadow to move back as it recognized the darkness.
