She stepped up to her mother and pulled her into a strong hug, she took a deep whiff of her mother's scent. And it filled her with a slight pain as it had been forever since she hugged her and this was all she ever wanted. But nevertheless, she knew this wouldn't be the last trip here or the last trip to seeing her.
She would make a plan to see her mother again, no matter the time difference. She would make sure that her mother healed and became content with herself again. no matter what.
Pulling away, she gave her a smile and said, "One day I hope you will allow me", stepping away and heading to the door. She was about to leave when she heard her mother say, "When will you be back Jessica?" she stopped and turned to look at her mother with a sad but happy smile.
