"Why are you here?" Nina asked the man who is currently arranging food in front of her.
According to this man, he is Hades Keiro Clemonte. So it means that this man was the youngest patriarch of the Clemonte clan, the only son of Karen and Cronos Clemonte, the cousin of Ares Lexington, and the legendary wall who made the male lead unable to shake Themis Clemonte.
Why is this great figure here and is serving her her food? Did Ares ask this man to take care of her while he was not around?
"I'm here to take care of you" the man just answered while he feeds her the porridge. Nina didn't refuse because she really feels tired by just lifting her hands and she needs to eat for her baby so she can't be too stubborn.
"Did Ares ask you to take care of me?"
"Do you think that I am someone who can be casually asked by anyone to take care of someone?" Hades felt a little irritated when he heard Nina sound too close to his cousin. They just met yesterday and she already thinks too highly of that man? He is now thinking of ways to send Ares in a deserted place.
Nina thought for a while, is Hades someone who would leave the capital just to help his cousin take care of someone? According to the book, Hades lived like a deity, he never looked at anybody's face. He is someone who does as he pleases. He only helped his aunt in the book because he was bored to see the male lead arrogantly trying to pull the Clemonte clan down. He feels that the male lead doesn't know how to measure the sky so Hades made the male lead feel how it felt to work against a god. In just a month, the company that the male lead worked on for several years crumbled but because the company has a good foundation, the male lead was still able to build it up again. That was the time he stopped attacking the Clemonte clan. Hades also didn't bother about him anymore, he says that a loser will always be a loser, why bother to fight a defeated man? He was not that petty.
The point here is, why is this man who has a god-like existence here in front of her? What's the reason?
"Is it because of aunt and uncle?" Nina said, she still can't figure out the reason.
"Do you think I am a filial child who would follow my parents?" Hades asked back, speaking of his parents, he still doesn't know why they tried to hide Nina from him. Nina still doesn't know him so it means there is no chance that Nina could file a complaint to his parents against him.
Nina became more confused now "then why are you taking care of me? You said you are not someone who will take care of anyone just because you were asked to. Why are you taking care of me? You don't know me and I don't know you either" Nina tried searching the memories of the previous Nina if Hades met before but there is no such thing!
"Let me correct your words. You don't know me right now, but I know you" Hades said gently as he wiped Nina's lips with tissue. Nina became embarrassed with Hades' action, is he playing with her?
"Tell me the rules" Nina said seriously, she can't make this god mad because even the books male lead wasn't able to match him
"What rules?" Hades asked
"You are playing with me, I don't have that much time to play with you so I must know the rules to end this"
Hades stopped what he was doing then looked straight into her eyes. Hades' deep dark eyes looked at Nina so intently that she felt her mind being ruined.
"I am not playing" Hades then held Nina's chin because she tried to avoid his gaze "so don't think of asking for rules or to end anything"
You are my rule, if you ask me anything I will do it obediently. Hades wanted to say but he thought that Nina would run away if he said this, so he stopped himself. One day, when everything is cleared he will tell her.
"Mr. Clemonte-" Nina's words were stopped by the thumb of Hades' hand that was holding her chin
"Call me Hades, Nina," Hades said, still staring at her. Hades really wanted to rub his thumb on Nina's lips, this girl almost used up all Hades' self control.
"I don't think we reach the level of calling each other by first name, basically you are a stranger to me" Nina said, irritably removing the hand of Hades from her chim, she no longer cares if this man is a golden man in the book! She felt harassed and annoyed! Why bring her in circles? Can't he just tell her why he is here? Damn!
"You wanted to know why I am here right now, why not try asking me with my name in it, maybe I might give you an answer" Hades is a businessman, he is going to tell Nina everything anyway so why not use it to make a deal with her?
"I'm no longer interested" Nina annoyingly said
"My bad" Hades just smirked then cleaned the table in front of Nina
"When can I go home?" Nina asked but the man didn't answer, then she saw the emergency button on top of her headboard but she stopped, she really felt weak then she looked at the man sharply, she just wanted to ask when she would go home because she feels sticky all over her body but this man is too bullying!
"Do not cry, shh, no crying" Hades gently and panickedly said, then put her in his arms, he was just teasing her, he didn't want to make her cry!
Nina didn't notice that her eyes are already tearing if Hades didn't told her not to cry, she would not know
"I don't like here" Nina said in between her hiccups
"okay, I will bring you out of here. I'll bring you out, do not cry" Hades promised while rubbing her soft fluffy hair then he told Nina that he will go out for a while.
Hades then called someone to arrange Nina's request. The doctor told him that Nina still needs to be under observation until tomorrow but if Nina does not want to stay here, then he will adjust everything for her. He asked what are the things he should observe about Nina's condition then told the doctor that he will send someone tomorrow to pick her up and check Nina.
When everything was okay, he took the clothes that Jerry bought for Nina. But before going inside the room he looked at Jerry darkly
"Y-young master, I-I didn't touch the clothes! I asked the sales lady to take it, I told her that the clothes should fit for 18 year old girl" after hearing Jerry's explanation, Hades just snorted before leaving
Jerry finally breathed a sigh of relief, he now regrets why he let his brother stay in the company while he went with the god of underworld, too terrifying.
Hades went back to see Nina. He saw a nurse who is currently removing Nina's dextrose. Then Nina looked at him with a smile on her face. If Hades would be greeted by Nina like this, he can probably give his life to her.
"I brought you clothes" Hades said when the nurse left, he saw Nina's swollen eyes from her crying turned bright.
Nina then wanted to stand up immediately because she really wanted to wipe her body and change clothes but Hades hugged and carried her towards the bathroom.
When they reached the bathroom, Hades carefully put her down and when he noticed that she's not wearing slippers he hugged her again and let her sit on a couch before taking slippers for her to wear. When everything was set, he carried her again towards the bathroom.
"If you don't come out after ten minutes, I'll barge in, understand?" Hades said, Nina just nodded, ten minutes is an hour inside her space, then she will just clean up on her space.
When the bathroom door was closed, Nina went to her space. She was surprised to see her space now. She wasn't able to check her space for almost two days, and now she saw her space totally different. The small tree seedlings that she planted are all grown up now with fruits! The crops she planted are also grown up already and the strawberry she was craving for also has a bright red fruit!
Before entering here, Nina still felt weak but maybe because of her space's aura, she is now gradually gaining her strength.
Nina didn't continue to watch her space because she still needs to clean her body. She first went inside her portable house and took a small towel. There is a small space here for a bathroom but she didn't put a toilet seat there because she doesn't know how, but there is a tub there but there's no water so she went to the spring puddle because she put a big drum of water there which she uses to water her plants but when she was near it she was stunned once again, the puddle now no longer looks like a puddle but a small pond then she looked around once more then she saw that her space became a little bit bigger now.
She didn't think too much about her space, she really needs to take a quick wipe. She took a pail of water from the pond instead of the drum. She wants to know if it could help her alleviate her immune system.
She was thinking that since she had already drank water from this spring she already became stronger but her body seems to be still weak. She's now planning to dilute the water to her drink once her baby comes out. She can't do it now because she's afraid that it would have a negative effect on her child's body.
After fetching water, Nina wiped her whole body clean. When she is done, she feels much more comfortable and energetic. Gone was her weakness moments ago. She also took this time to brush her teeth before wearing the clothes that Hades gave her. It was actually a conservative long sleeved knee length white dress which was partnered with a black leggings. There was also underwear included but she felt that the bra is a little bit smaller than her size but she needs to bear with it first because she doesn't like Hades to be suspicious of her.
She put all her dirty clothes inside the paper bag even though she's itching to wash it she needs to stop, be low key.
When she's done, she tries calculating her time, she still has 25 minutes left. She then went out and harvested her crops using her storage hut. Then she went out and saw her land empty again, she felt that she can't go out like this, can't this space plant the things on its own. Then she thought that her space leveled up, so she tried to go to one of her plots, then told it to plant cabbage, then she saw a thing from her storage hut flying towards the plot, then it started planting itself!
Nina was so happy that she planted all her plots, she tried if she can also water the plants using this way, but it failed. Anyway, she will just water it later when she has more time.
Nina went back to her cabin to get the stuff she brought here so she didn't see the plots slowly become wet.
Nina went back to the bathroom where Hades left her. She can now hear Hades calling her so she opened the door.
Hades hugged her when he saw her open the door "you're okay, you are here, you didn't run" Hades said like he is trying to tell her those words but it actually sounds like he is calming himself.
"Hey, aren't we being too touchy?" Nina now gained her strength back so she doesn't need to rely on this man too much.
Well, she sounds like a scum but this man is too dangerous to get along with. He is so handsome and powerful enough to send the male lead to his grave. What if this man just wanted her to be his toy? No, no, no, she already has a baby, she's sure that once he knows that she's pregnant, he will run away. Nina thought, she completely forgot that Hades was the one who read her medical reports.
Hades checked her from head to toe, he liked her clothes which completely covers her body but he will still bundle her up later once they go out, it's still cold outside so he needs to make her warm. Hades also noticed that Nina seems to gain her vitality. Her previously pale cheeks and lips have a blush of pink.
Hades was about to carry her again but Nina stopped him "I can walk now" Nina said but she realized that a while ago she can't almost lift her hand now she can walk with no help? Wasn't that too bizarre?
"J-just hold my hand" Nina embarrassedly said, Hades then just held her hand to support her. He saw her pouting like she was being forced to do something she doesn't like.
Before going out, Hades took his coat to cover Nina when they are on the basement parking lot, Nina saw a man waiting for them
"Young Master, Miss Nina" greeted the man, when he said her name, Nina felt like this man was fawning over her. Jerry' s subtle attempt to win favor didn't scape Hades eyes, Jerry felt a strong cold air touch his neck, then he told himself never ever try to get close to the future young madam!
Hades opened the door for Nina before sitting.
"Where are we going?" Hades asked
"Can you bring me first at A hotel then to my house?" Nina thought that since she can already sleep at her house, she can now check out of the hotel. Hades didn't ask anything and just agreed. Like what he said, whatever Nina says will be his rule.
