She got an earful of lecture from Felix when she call to informed her absence on Monday and can only return the following day. He has start to camp in the office again and think of YaoYao as his disciple. She can only swallow the nagging for she really want to take the time to know her in-law better and spent some time with her grandparents whom she has not seen for awhile.
She was troubled as her grandparents has expressed their desire to stay there. They are the only family she has left and if she agree, it means she won't be able to see them whenever she like. Steven and Yuki reassured her that she can come anytime but it does not make the heaviness in her heart disappear.
She fell deeper into despondency listening their conversation exchange during dinner:-
Steven: This is the private key to your honeymoon suit in that seaside hotel. It is now exclusive for you and Angela only.
Chris: Thanks bro.
Xavier:That's not fair. Am I not your brother too? Why you bought over his honeymoon hotel and gift the suite for his exclusive use? What about me?
Steven: He has been pestering me ever since I bought the hotel chain. I do this just to shut him up.
Xavier: Yuki love, would you like to have our exclusive suite in the hot spring resort back in Japan?
Yuki: If you could Steven, it would be the best gift ever.
Steven: That is a cheap shot Xavier.
Xavier: Are you saying no to her? My pestering would be ten time worse than Chris.
Steven: I am away for a week from my new bride because of that hotel. Yours is overseas. Please take my honeymoon stage into consideration will ya? I'll make a trip after YaoYao graduation okay.
She was glad that Steven was thinking of her but the conversation make her realise how financially powerful the family is. It is very unsettling when she owns nothing.
Angela and Yuki were like sisters she never had although they look so different. One is mature and charismatic the other has an exquisite face like a doll. They invited her to have a hot spring session together and surprisingly she learnt a whole lot about the men in the family. The whole lot is crazily possessive, protective and Steven is the king of high sex drive. When she complained to the ladies, they offered her two solution. Angela on the other hand offer me insight into a cruel world. She is a journalist by profession and has seen the darkest side of Chris. Being at the top of the pyramid be in finance or social status does not allowed mistakes. Luckily Yuki provide a step by step guidance with her own experience otherwise she might back out from being a member of such family.
Later that night,"Steven, I am not sure why you choose me but I might not be the right choice for you."
"Are you trying to divorce your husband because he is too rich and handsome?"he asked.
She rolled her eyes,"I am serious. It felt so unreal marrying to you. You are building your own empire now as we speak but I am nothing."
"You are my everything. Just trust me."he embraced her tightly.
So much information during the three days visit is hard for her to digest. She was exceptionally quiet during the trip back to City G. Steven was busy as usual as if he is giving her some space to think it through.
Her thought bubbles burst into thin air upon their arrival at the airport of City G. Reporters were everywhere. She is blinded by the flashes of cameras and the shout from the crowd is deafening. Steven shielded her mostly and pull her as closed as possible plastered to his front.
"Mr. Steven, is it true that you are married?!"
"Is this the young madam of Emperor Empire?!"
"Can we get an exclusive interview?!"
"How did you meet each other?!"
"How long have you been together?!"
"Is the union blessed by your family?!
Only when they are in the car that Steven asked,"Are you okay?"
"Yes but startled. What was that all about?"she enquired.
He show her the top trending news of the day:[The Marriage of Emperor Empire President] "I have given permission to Angela to write the article about our marriage since your graduation is just around the corner. When people know who you are, they will think twice before offending you."
He pulled her close and place a kiss on her forehead,"I'll go crazy if you get hurt."
It seems the news of Steven in City G for the development of Emperor Mall City has become official news. There are so many reporters hanging around everywhere we go and he assigned two bodyguards to be visible around me at all time. It is so uncomfortable having people following me everywhere including the washroom. One of the assigned was a female bodyguard who literally stand in front of my toilet booth. People in HK office didn't say anything although I am not sure if it is out of fear or out of respect. Everybody except for Naomi who keep insinuate that I am her boss now and Gillian who hint for a free meal. The worst is Felix who boldly taunt me about.

"And I would like you to continue working with me even after you graduation, think about it and let me know. We can talk about changing your contract from Emperor Empire to HK Architect. It might not be wise to be under the payroll of your husband you know. You need your own foothold for future disagreement."
