The newly married couple has return from their blissful moment in Japan to whirlwind office. Once again work seems to never end and Yuki has resume her full role as personal assistant bridging the communication gap Steven has hallowed out. They still meet for lunch once in a while together with Chris but the men will be deep in discussion, luckily Angela turns out to be just like how her name sound. Both women got along splendidly and the new baby will be coming real soon looking at her heavy tummy.
Yuki has not seen HuangMin since her reconciliation with Xavier even before the Japan trip. She was worried even when HuangMin reassured her through the phone that he is just tired from his full time job and required more time to adjust plus his nutritionist course has started in January. There was once she thought he was in some kind of pain when she managed to get through to him but HuangMin has promised he was okay and will definitely has a more normal schedule after Chinese New Year to meet up. Yuki asked HuangMin to return to her hometown to meet her family for the festive season. HuangMin agreed as he has nowhere to return to as his parents passed away after his graduation in a landslide accident in his hometown and he doesn't feel right to go back.
Lee Group has issued double bonus this year to every employee's delight with a message "Congratulations to CEO Lee union". Some don't care, others are jealous but most were just happy, hoping their days will be better that the CEO hormones will be more balanced in the future.
Yuki and Xavier has went to the Lee Mansion three days ago and the elders are all moving back to the family home together which has been completed. Xavier realised why Yuki look best in qipao as Christine has bombarded Mrs. Zhang with an entire new wardrobe of them all handmade by the top qipao tailor in City Y. Mrs. Zhang exude a traditional serene look which matches well with her original personality. Mrs. Jung is also following the entourage with four newly hired helpers for the new residence. Somehow Albert and Mr. Zhang is always deep in their own discussion and left the moving to the women. Mrs. Jung has taken to Mrs. Zhang as she is a detailed person and knows well medicinal properties in different herbs as well as tea due to the hobby of Mr. Zhang.
Christine has suggested to the new couple to stay in the mansion for the next two days since it is empty and allowed Yuki to get a feel of it since she is the young madam after all and will be living there eventually as the couple sent them off.
On Chinese New Year's eve, the couple has picked up HuangMin to head to the new family home for reunion dinner. There will be a week vacation for most enterprises except for those in essential fields like T Comm and Security which needs to provide services 24/7.
When they arrived, Yuki's jaw dropped. She rubbed her eyes and did a double take, the long stretches of wall was still there. There is a huge red bronze double gate and long walls surrounding the family land. The guards on duty recognizes their car and open the gate to a parking compound which could fit a dozen car. Her old family house was still standing but the entire house was moved 300 metres backwards.
"I thought you said you are inviting me to your small family home and I might need to camp outside the garden since there are only two bedrooms?!" HuangMin who was still in disbelief shouted.
Yuki shake her head and throw an accusing glance at Xavier,"They said renovation."
Upon receiving the burnt end, Xavier said helplessly,"Hey, at least nobody is sleeping in the fields tonight."
They went in and the house was no longer the same. It looks like a tea pavilion with long benches and tea tables. Only 1 of the bedroom remains as an office. Another door could be seen at the other end. Four ladies were sitting around a table playing mahjong, Mrs. Zhang past time during her free hours. They all look up with the new arrival entrance.
After exchange of greetings, Xavier discovered Christine was trying to pick up the new game which is apparently very useful to go against alzheimer. She is still losing but confidence to pick up the game with time and the money exchange on the table really didn't mean much to her. The company was good with two elderly ladies from the same town whose children has left to find work outside too.
Outside the entrance was a landscape that brings Yuki to a blushed as it reminds her of their honeymoon escapade in the Japanese onsen. The family private hot spring pool has been expanded into two pool; one for men and the other for women with changing room and shower for convenience. It opens to a big garden which has plots of newly planted greens all over. This is where we found the two father who wan taking sample of the earth and plotting and seeding and drawing.
Albert was fascinated the first time he visited Yuki's parents. The land has high potential for a resort and spa but the proposal was turned down by Mr. Zhang who has a love for nature. Mr. Zhang also shown him a patch of medicinal herbs garden that he managed to cultivate mainly due to the rocks mineral and hot spring quality on the land. Albert found a new interest almost immediately. So one equipped with knowledge the other with finance, they have embarked on the research of what is best suited for the land. High quality medicinal herbs are very much sought after all around the world. The sample that Mr. Zhang has produced was highly praised by the medicinal halls in City Y. Some has offer long term supplies contract immediately. They have run to and fro the construction site for inspection and work on their project at the same time for the last 2 months. In the beginning Mr. Zhang was not comfortable at all but Xavier got his leadership and advance thinking traits from Albert who always foresee everything and respected Mr. Zhang opinion.
The new family home was built according to the Hans concept as the initial home; rooms surrounding a main courtyard which served as a living and dining area with an overhead glass rooftop which can be retracted when the weather is nice. The couple was shown to the master bedroom on the second floor overlooking the entire courtyard. A security guard has shown HuangMin to a guest room on the ground floor.
