Yuki stretched her body after shower before propping up her laptop to continue her research on the industry. It is something totally new to her therefore interesting to read about. The only problem is she is not sure how much of a help she will be when she has nothing to contribute to the problem. She organised the memo and minutes of the meeting beforehand to be send to Xavier, Hans, Tam and Lee Group of operational directors beforehand.
She was concentrating hard until Xavier came out from the shower drying his hair with a towel and another around his waist. She could feel her saliva dripping down the couch she was sitting on looking at water drops sliding from the muscular chest down the six-packs. He is good enough to eat.
"Please don't look at me like that Yuki, I might not work and pounce on you instead,"grinned Xavier.
Yuki turned her redden face,"Why are you walking around half naked?! Who am I supposed to look at when there is only you in the room?!"
Xavier walked over to the wardrobe to grab some clothes before caging Yuki on the sofa,"You are not allowed to look at anyone else my wife. Wait until this problem is solved, you can see and taste all you want."
Yuki grabbed Xavier shirt pulling him down for a kiss,"Remember what you promised, husband."
Xavier was delighted to hear the endearment from Yuki. It seems like his little rabbit is turning into a fox.
Both work until past midnight before Yuki remember that Xavier didn't sleep the night before and insist that they go to rest. Xavier gave in seeing the determine but worried look in Yuki.
Yuki was curious,"Why didn't you bring Tam instead? He will be more helpful since he was the one who follow up the acquisition of this plant and links to other manufacturing we have overseas?"
Xavier smooth Yuki hair,"You are not suggesting I spent my New Year countdown with Tam are you? or you thought I have forgotten this is the first new year we are together?"
Yuki love to listen to Xavier's voice vibration lying on his chest. They discussed on the parents plan before drifting of to slumberland.
The next morning was hectic. Xavier has managed to find a solution which will cost quite a bit but more profitable in the long run by changing to robotics production. I contacted the Investment and Finance department to draw up the financial plan with the plant managers to recalculate their output capacity, potential customers and all to produce a new forecast.
Xavier managed to secure a local source of robots catered for lens manufacturing last night. Japan is still the pioneer in technology of this nature and it is wise indeed to have the investment remains here. We have to do the rounds with the plant manager to finalise the purchase together with the Research and Development head to discuss training plan for the operators. "Can we go to Mount Jiji for countdown Xavier, there will be fireworks there?" Yuki asked innocently.
Xavier appeared relax after the crisis agreed but mentioned they need to make a special stop at the foot of the mountain before heading up. He brought Yuki to a special kimono shop, they provide all kinds of kimono with the entire dressing up package. When in Rome we must do what Romans do.
Yuki chose a simple yukata with sakura pattern as it is easier to wear and pair it with a thick Haori just in case it's cold in the mountain. Xavier on the other hand has also chosen a simple blue Yukata with a jacket to match. Yuki felt giddy when she look at the photo they have taken at the studio with the flowers in her hair and matching accessories, it look like their wedding photo. She kept the photo together with the soft copy in her kinchaku pouch planning to frame it for their home.
With everything check, they went hand in hand to Mount Jiji. They were cruising through the crowd like normal couple, looking at wonderful lights and lanterns decorations as well as browsing through all the small stalls set up along the way. Although they have had dinner, Yuki still managed to buy some snacks here and there, sharing the bites with Xavier. Yuki has forgotten all about the lost scholarship, the suspicious friendship and her parents hardship in the blissful environment.
