"They were what?!", Hippolytus questioned immediately he heard the full report of the messenger kneeling before him, almost screaming at the top of his voice. He felt a heavy mist of disappointment and fear overshadowing him completely. He hadn't foreseen that they would lose the battle against Vedon's foot-soldiers and felt a heavy plight of distressful danger awaiting him. It was quite a remarkable shock and horror to hear Ragnok had lost the battle against the Zekians whom he thought might be held back by the detachment he ordered to be on guard under Ragnok and the generals leadership before requesting for reinforcements. He was instantly gripped with fear after he heard the pain stricken news of defeat and felt his heart sink with despondency whilst his confidence hit rock bottom.
