It was already 11 in the morning, we had arrived in Dianne's house. I have decide that we will stay here for a week while our house is being decorated and changed.
Yuri ran towards the TV and watched her favorite cartoons and D went out to buy some groceries for our lunch and dinner, while on the other hand I got our luggage and fixed our room tidy.
I fixed our luggage in our designated room, the guest room and took my laptop and sat besides Yuri to keep watch.
I set down my laptop on the table and started making my drafts and records for tomorrows meeting. I looked at the time and it was already 11:25 in the clock, at the same time Dianne just came back with groceries in her hands.
Finally, me and Yuri are already hungry. As soon as she came back I stopped writing and put aside my laptop to help D make our lunch.
"let me help you!" I said and took some of the grocery bags from her hands.
"Sure!, but how about your work?" she asked.
"I was already halfway on it, don't worry I'll continue it after lunch." I said, for her not to worry.
"Oh!, Okay!" she said and we went straight to the kitchen.
Yuri was still on the couch singing the opening of her favorite cartoon, "Adventure Time"
"Yuri what would you like for lunch?" I asked Yuri.
Yuri turned to us and said: "I want to eat beans."
"Well Okay!" I agreed to her request.
Luckily Dianne bought some beans. We started cooking and prepared the things and ingredients we need. We decided to cook 3 meals: Chicken stew, Beans, and some soup, for our drinks, I decided to make melon shakes, and of course let's not forget about the rice.
First, D cooked the rice with the rice cooker while I washed the vegetables and the chicken thoroughly. I put the pot in the stove and opened the fire, I first put in the chicken so that will be cook nicely and done I also put the seasonings so that the meat will soften and savors and so on.
While we were cooking, D asked me: "so are you really not going to let Justin know about Yurisha?!" she asked while chopping off the carrots.
I twitched. Just from hearing it makes me fume with anger.
"Are you nuts?!. if he knew he might take my daughter away from me!. And that is why I worked so hard to build up my Company, to not let that thing from happening!" I shouted at her in anger. I didn't even realize my own condition.
"Iya, calm down. I was just asking!" she told me and hold my hands.
I finally calmed down and looked at D, she had this sad and consoling look in her face.
I was about to cry when Dianne touched my face and told me: "Shush! it's okay, don't worry!" she consoled me. We hugged each other and talked about it while we cooked.
"that's why I won't let him meet Yurisha!" I said.
"Who am I not allowed to meet Mommy?!" a voice from the emerged. Me and D turned our head and saw Yuri standing behind the wall.
Me and Dianne looked at each other and I began to stutter.
"U... Umhhh, It... It's nothing my dear" I walked towards her and bent down. I held her face and said: "It's nothing, me and your Auntie are just talking about something."
"Okay!" Yuri said and smiled, she kissed my cheeks.
"I believe Mommy!" She said and smiled so dazzling that I was almost went blind from it's brightness.
"So cute! My daughter is so cute" I thought in my mind.
"Lunch's ready!" D said.
"Yehey! Eat! Eat!" Yuri shouted in excitement.
It took us an hour and a half to finish all of the cooking. I arranged our table ware on the table and d served the foods.
After that we all went and sat down on the table, we first prayed and then finally ate.
Yuri's POV:
"Mommy said I have a Daddy, but she won't let him see me. Daddy must've hurt mommy in the past, I'll make him pay for that"
Yuri was about to go to the kitchen and see Iya when she heard them talking about something. She his behind the wall and listened.
After lunch, D washed the dishes and I continued my work. Yuri fell asleep and had brought her to the room.
Justin's POV:
"Young Master!, here are the information about the Lucian project. The one leading this project is someone called Ms. Yana"(Iyana's nickname in her company, the name called by her favorite person.)
"her Identity is still suspicious and unknown. She built her company, "Glory World" in just a scratch and made it to the most important business in the world in just 2 years. Their main branch is in America. She is here in China to build and expand her branch here in China, and that would be possible if this project is successful.
"Young Master, The company will be in Danger and maybe in decline if that happens." Justin's secretary informed him.
"Don't worry, I won't let that happen" Justin's face darkened and thought for a second.
"I can't believe that a powerful rival has come and, it's a girl" he chuckled.
"When will this project start?!" Justin asked.
"I think they will have a meeting about the project tomorrow 10am at the "Glory World!" itself.
"Go and tell the Glory World's president that I want to be one of their partners and add it on my schedule" Justin ordered.
"Yes Sir!" Elvis obliged
"And about Iya?" he said.
Morgan stopped from his walking and reported to Justin.
"She's still single and currently bought an apartment in Ruby residence (one of the most expensive residence in China) but now, she is currently staying in her best friend's house. And there seem to be a 3 year old kid with her sir!" Said Elvis.
"A 3 year old kid?!" he asked.
"Yes!"
'Find out about it" ordered Justin.
"Yes sir!" He bowed and left the room.
(sighed) "Iya, I am sorry, this past few years I was blind, I didn't even recognized you, I am sorry! This time I won't let you leave me and make it up to you" He thought on his mind.
A day later,
Iya sets of to her company to attend the meeting. Yuri was left with D in the house.
All of their partners from the project are already there. He hurriedly came and on her way she received a phone call.
' ring, ring ' a sound of a ringing was heard from inside Iya's bag. She quickly got it and saw her secretary, Adrian calling. She clicked the answer button and said hello.
"Miss, our branch from India called and said that the Diamond mine project was successful, it only needs some paperwork for it to be finally finished." Adrian said.
'Oh, okay. I'm already headed to the meeting so I'm gonna hang up now and just schedule my flight to India, make it quick. Bye!" I replied.
I clicked the hang up button but it seems like Adrian was about to say something. I sighed and look at the window.
"Whatever!" I thought in my mind.
Adrian's POV,
"Uhmm, Miss there's also one..." and then the phone hang up before he can even finished. "More"
"Well, I tried" he said.
She already arrived at the company and was about to enter the meeting room. As I walked I had my second assistant bring the documents with me.
I left Adrian in the America for him to manage the branch there.
As I entered the room, I was shocked from who I saw. My eyes largened and my jaw dropped.
"You!" I said and pointed at him.
I saw Justin sitting in one of the seats saved for our project partners. I was quite shocked myself.
"What is he doing here?!" I thought in mind while I was fuming in anger.
"Oh, I didn't expect to see you so soon!" Justin said in a tempting way.
