Chapter 1 - High Octane Chase

A small green lizard calmly began to snack on small insects strewn around the wasteland, its long, sticky, blood red tongue darting with the speed of a bullet and forcefully snatching an innocent fly out of thin air and straight into the endless hole of its gut. This peace soon disrupted however, as a loud rumble and small shakes of the earth panicked the lizard, causing it to scuttle away, seeking refuge in a small indent in a crack in the floor. Two automobiles sped past, one a heavy armored truck, the other, a small black bike harboring a young girl, a look of anger painted aggressively on her face, the blood lust in her eyes ready to kill, or maybe just to discover. Her red eyes not losing focus on the truck in front of her, swiftly dodging the shower of bullets and laser shots flinging themselves at her. The soldiers on the back of the truck still firing, aiming for her hood covered head, aiming not to injure, but to kill.

The girl increased speed and slipped into the side of the truck, and nimbly flipped off the bike, with a back flip that gave impressions of gymnastic training for years, and delivered a swift kick to the stomach of one soldier, he flew off the truck and hit the bike, both tumbling away as they soon were enveloped the the orange glow of a fatal boom. With the upmost grace, she effortlessly whacked, murdered and shot all the soldiers, showing absolutely no mercy as she ripped a soldiers arm off, grabbed his gigantic blade and pierced his heart directly in the center, smirking as his limp body fell on its side, eyes in pure shock. Deciding to finally get her "mission" done, she grabbed her trusty, steel staff and jammed it into the self-drive control panel, causing the truck to flip perfectly over and tumble a good 10 feet before finally coming to a halt on its side, sparks that would definitely blind anyone close enough, and already scorched the earth below it.

After carefully searching the back of the truck 5 times over, she yelled in frustration and smashed her arm into a screen. Another busted shot, that seemed to be her life nowadays, leaving a composed matter bomb in a deep place in the truck, she walked away, deciding to head home, after another day of failed hunting. Once the grenade exploded, with the girl long gone, the small green lizard looked at the giant crater, and snatched another fly.

The orange sunset spread a wide glow over the rundown gas station, reflecting off the remaining glass of the shattered windows as Asado sat down and started blow torching on another contraption, this one would be for Rikai, one of her two friends nowadays, not since the accidents with her hometown. Suddenly, memories flooded her brain. The explosion, screams from her towns folk as her village was raided, raided by him, the most powerful man in the world, Axel Rodderson. They came for Asado's robots, claiming that they were technological advances, and had originally offered Asado a large sum of money for all her robotics, devices and tools. Not wanting to leave her passion, She immediately declined, She didn't need money, neither did her village that much, they weren't rich, but they easily made it by each day. That day Axel walked off in a huff, thinking it was over, Asado set her farming robots off to harvest the months hyper-accelerated wheat and began a peaceful sleep. Being awoken around 1 O'Clock or 2, Asado couldn't remember, all she heard was explosions and screams, people shouting, and her robots gone. Running outside, she realised that Axel, being the stuck up man he was, attacked her village and burned everything, murdered everyone, and stole all of her robots. After hearing the screams and gunshots again, tears began to form in her eyes. The memories faded, as small drops of water fell on the blade before her. That night, Asado cried as the night fell.

Rikai, came in through the thick steel door of the re-designed gas station, she needed rest. As she walked through the station, she heard crying, knowing who it was, she immediately ran to Asado's mechanic garage, inputted the triple lock on the door and ran in, kneeling down and rubbing Asado's back, saying "don't worry, its fine, you're okay". They stayed like that for an hour, slowly calming Asado down, comforting each other, sharing stories and joking around. Eventually, Rikai stood up, and questioned the whereabouts of their third teammate and friend Keiko. Keiko was a small, fearful girl with twin light brown ponytails, one each side of her hair, she had ruby red eyes and loved animals, she even had a small winged gecko creature which shes known for the longest time. "shes out getting more supplies for us" said Asado. "That's very brave of her" Rikai said calmly, Keiko was not the most social, so her doing that kinda of job was an impressive feat for her, Rikai thought. "She will most likely be back within the hour, don't worry for her, she's a strong one" Asado said.
