I am part Tapfol which is another name for vampire but I am also part Haypire which is a type of human that can't become a full Tapfol. I ran away to Oregon with my friend Ariana whom is a very important person to Saint Lucifer Academy. I was given instructions as to keep her safe 5 years ago. I've kept her safe for those long years and we've grown a bond. She feeds from me but only to be energetic for long journeys. This week has been one hell of a week because we've been running from Sargoi, or trackers that are vampire's that track their own kind.
As we his inside an old hotel room, Ari takes a sip of coffee from the cup I made her. She looks up from the coffee with a smirk.
"What?" I eye her
"Your always so over concerned about me. Loosen up a little and have some fun for once" she takes my arm and she drags me to the couch before plopping down next to me and turning on the TV. I stare at the window and I think I spot a man's shadow stalking in the darkness. I get up and grab her hand and grab our purses and we get out of that hotel room quickly. As we round the corner outside, three men with sharp knives come at us. I punch the first guy in the face and he is out like a light, the second guy I manage to knock the knife to the floor and he trips over my leg as I flip him over and he grunts and lands face first on the ground. I stop in my tracks as the third guy is with a sword and a gun. He doesn't make a move but does continue walking up to me. Ari, seeing my hesitation yells at him to stop but he grabs me and flips me into the ground and I get the breath knocked out of me. I stare at the face that appears above me. He lucky I am just a beginner, I would kick his ass I'd I knew how to fight better.
