I may be here today

But I may not be here tomorrow

Remember me for the good and bad

Know I'll always be a human

Never an angel up in heaven

For that I will never be,

An angel flying up into the sky to meet your god

After I've drawn my last breath

Which marked the end of my responsibility as a human

I no longer need to make sure I breath or eat to keep alive

All I need to do is make sure my memory lasts

But of course I know they won't

They will rot as fast as my body but slower than the sanity I once had

There is sun in every morning

And there is mourning in every sun

You will experience both just as I have once

For there is no way to escape it all

If you try, you will end up crying all night in fear

I tried it too,

But it made it worse

My scars deepened due to the neglect they received

My body aches with every movement

And my throat hurts with every sound

I cannot scream anymore

I cannot kneel and pray

All I can do

Is watch

And watch
