Walter
I drove Markus back home and started driving. I soon found myself at my grandparent's museum, kung saan sila nakalibing. Bumaba ako sa sasakyan ko at pumasok. I sat down on the floor and greeted my grandparents.
I honestly don't know what to feel anymore. The moment I saw Felix and Angelica my world fell, ginawa ko naman ang lahat, I was working hard not only for my family, but for our future too. Hindi ko gustong problemahin nya ang mga problema ko, she had her own problems I didn't want her college life to be miserable, I wanted her to enjoy her college life, and never prohibitted her to got out with her friends without me aslong as she was safe. I know it was hard for her to understand everything, but I just wanted the best for her, I know na may pagkukulang ako sa kanya, but my family needed me and they still do, I just can't leave the company to the staffs hindi ko naman pwedeng pabayaan ang mga negosyong ipinamana at pinaghirapan ni Grandpa. Ang sakit now I know how my mom felt when she knew my father was cheating on her.
She's the only woman I loved romantically in my entire excistence. Mahal na mahal ko si Angelica, pero ang sakit. I felt hot tears trickling down my face. I can't take the pain anymore. I lost my grandparents and now I lost Angelica.
"Grandma ang sakit. All I wanted was to be loved. I planned our future already, ngayon I don't know how I can live without her. She chose someone else over me, I did everything grandma...I tried my best, but my family needs me. G-Grandma I-I don't k-know what to do anymore, h-help me, grandma"
Walter was like a lost child crying beside his grandparents tomb. He was in so much pain. Sumakay ulit si Walter sa kanyang sasakyan at muling nagmaneho. His car was going really fast, iyak lang sya ng iyak.
"It's really bright" wala na sa tamang pag-iisip si Walter sa mga oras na 'yon, the last thing he saw was Angelica's face and then everything went black.
Everyone on that street screamed when they heard a loud crash. The ambulance came at agad sinugod si Walter sa hospital. The hospital called Angelica since sya yung na sa speed dial ni, Walter.
Nagulat si Angelica ng tumunog ang cellphone ntys she has been crying for hours already at pinaalis nya muna si Felix since she wanted to be alone. She looked at the called ID at nagulat sya ng makitang si Walter ang tumatawag, agad nya itong sinagot.
"W-Walter I-I'm sorry let's tal-
agad namang naputol ang kanyang dapat sabihin ng magsalita ang isang babae
"Hello po ito pa ba si Angelica?"
"y-yes. Sino ka? Why is Walter's phone with you?" agad namang sumagot ang babae.
"Nurse po ako dito sa St. Lukes Hospital po kayo po kasi yung na sa speed dial ni Mr. Walter Gonzales nandito po kasi sya sa St. Lukes. He got involved po in a car accident minor lang po yung injuries nya pero madami pong nawalang dugo sa kanya"
Angelica was shocked with what she heard
"o-okay papunta na ako is he admitted already or is he still in the ER?"
"ER po we can transfer him po kapag nandito na kayo"
"Okay thank you bye"
Agad namang kinuha ni Angelica ang kanyang mga susi at nag maneho patungo sa St. Lukes
Hinarang sya ng isa sa mga nurse ng pumasok sya sa ER
"Bawal po kayo dito ma'am"
M-My b-boyfriend is inside his n-name is W-Walter, Walter Gray Arkinson"
"Ay kayo po ba yung Angelica na tinawagan ko po?"
Angelica nodded.
"Left side po third cubicle po"
Agad namang pumunta si Angelica kay Walter matapos sabihin ng nurse kung nasaan sya.
Walter was asleep may ilang pasa din sya at galos agad namang lumapit si ANgelica at umiyak sa gilid ni Walter.
"W-Walter I'm sorry, I'm so sorry"
Angelica sobbed and sobbed hindi nya kayang makita si Walter na ganito. Everything is her fault kung hindi lang sana sya nagloko wala si Walter sa kalalagyan nya ngayon, she could've understood him. His family needed him lalong lalo na ngayon na pumanaw na si grandma at grandpa.
Angelica was so guilty iyak lang sya ng iyak, nung medyo kumalma na sya agad nyang tinawagan ang mama ni Walter.
"Hello tita"
(Anong kailangan mo?)
Based on how Walter's mom replied to her alam nyang alam na nito kung anong ginawa nya sa anak nito.
"T-Tita si Walter po he got involved in a car accident nandito po kami sa St. Lukes ER"
hindi na sinagot ng mama ni Walter si Angelica at binabaan na sya nito.
Alam na ng mama ni Walter kung anong ginawa ni Angelica, she was devastated and disgusted. She's didn't want her son to feel the pain she experienced when her husband cheated on her. Agad na kinuha ni Mrs. Arkinson ang kanyang susi at tinawag ang kanyang bunsong anak upang samahan sya nito papaunta sa kuya nito.
Walter's mom arrived the hospital nagalit sya ng makita si ANgelica na hawak hawak ang kamay ng kanayang anak. Walter's mom was always calm, pero kapag anak na nya ang pinaguusapan she would be like those protective mothers. She gripped Angelica's wrist and dragged her out of the Emargency Room away from her son.
"Umalis ka na my son doesn't need you"
Iyak ng iyak si Angelica at ilang beses na humingi ng tawad sa mama ni Walter, she tried explaining pero tinalikuran na sya ng mama ni Walter. Markus escorted his mom back inside.
"I'll just talk to ate Angelica mom"
His mother's face stayed the smaae naninibago sya sa mama nya, he never saw his mom like this.
"Make it quick" she said and went back inside
"M-Markus ate's sorry"
"I trusted you. You promised not to hurt my brother we've been through a lot. Alam kong may pagkukulang si kuya sa'yo but you cheating isn't the solution. I lost all the respect I have for you, I'll just ask you to do one thing. Leave. Don't ever show yourself to my brother." with that Markus went back inside, masakit mang sabihin 'yon sa ate Angelica nya, he only did it for his brother he saw the pain in his brother's eyes. He knew what he did was right. He felt betrayed as well and he was disgusted by the actions of his Ate Angelica.
He sighed and went back to his brother and mother.
