Angelica's POV
Our teacher announced this morning that we will be having our Intramurals 5 weeks from now the Junior's will have a cheerdance competition while kaming seniors we'll be incharge of the booths mabuti nalang at dito sa University na ito iba ang gagawin naming mga seniors kami din ang magde-decorate sa buong school while may seniors din na naka assign na mag turo nang sayaw sa mga juniors in our case we requested sa head nang faculty na magsasama kami nila Christian, Alex, Walter, Gina, Athena, Stacey, at ako mabuti naman at pumayag ang faculty so we'll be playing at the last day of our intramurals and we'll also plan the flow of the whole event and talk with the Student Council para magging peaceful ang buong intramurals we just need the approval of the faculty the moment we finish discussing the flow of the whole event with the Student Council we had the biggest responsibility sa lahat we just finished our classes and now were on our way to Alex's resto to have a small discussion about the booths we decided to do and the flow of the whole event hinihintay nalang namin sina Stacey, Athena, at Gina
I was sitting on the side of the hallway since palagi namang malinis ang hallway namin kamusta na kaya si Andy? so I decided to ask Alex "Alex kamusta na si Andy?"
"Why are we talking about someone who isn't here again" nagulat naman ako nang si Stacey ang sumagot
Huminga ako nang malalim Stacey has been bitching out everyday eversince Andy came here yan din ang palaging pinagaawayan nila ni Christian lately she's just too sensitive "I was just asking Alex about her Stacey"
She rolled her eyes "can we just please stop talking about her nakakairita puro nalang Andy it's not like she's someone sooo special that you guys gotta talk about everyday kung gusto mo naman Angelica you can go abroad to her place"
"Stacey" Leandro said in a warning tone
"What? totoo naman Andy kayo nang Andy why is she so important ba!"
"Stacey these past months I will be very honest I don't give a damn about how you'll feel after this pero sumosobra ka na I was asking about how Andy is because she's my friend and I know na umalis sya nang Pilipinas with a heavy heart you've been so sensitive minsan naiisip ko na baka insecure ka na talaga inaaway mo si Christian dahil don baka nakakalimutan mong you asked Christian for a break he got in trouble kaya pinadala sila sa Cagayan de Oro walang kayo nung mga panahon na naging sila ni Andy I know the whole damn story cause Andy told me about it she even left her business here because of the pain that your boyfriend caused her kaibigan kita at mas nauna kitang nakilala but Andy is also my friend kaya sana isipin mo din na walang kasalanan si Andy sa inyong dalawa ni Christian infact kasalanan mo Christian Andy's the victim here hindi ikaw! nagmahal lang si Andy! Tangina Walter let's go!" di ko na napilitan ang galit ko lahat nang tao sa hallway napatingin sa akin I honestly didn't care I walked out sinundan naman ako nina Walter, Alex, at Leandro looks like Christian stayed with Stacey I fuming mad about everything
Walter cleared his throat and spoke "Dun nalang tayo sa bahay Angelica, Leandro, at Alex" I just nodded
"I'll just leave my car here sasabay na ako kay Leandro we'll go to the grocery and bakery to buy some snacks tara na Tomas" Alex and Leandro went to Leandro's car habang si Walter naman he guided me to his car I can't think straight when I'm mad kaya mabuti nalang at nandito si Walter
Na sa kalagitnaan sila nang traffic nang mag salita si Walter "Alam mo ba Angelica na ilang beses ko nang gustong sabihin kay Stacey ang mga sinabi mo kanina I just don't have enough courage to tell her and ayaw ko namang masaktan sya pero hanga ako sa ginawa mo kaya please magsalita ka na hindi ako sanay na sobrang tahimik ka tapos hindi ka naman natutulog"
"I'm just mad hindi ko na talaga na pigilan Stacey has been so sensitive lately she makes small things a big deal bakit masama ba kung magtanong ako kay Alex kung kamusta si Andy?! Hindi naman siguro masama diba I know she left the country with a heavy heart kahit sabihin nyang hindi nya na mahal si Christian I know she still does ang sakit lang isipin na sya yung nasaktan pero sa mata ni Stacey sya ang may kasalan she distanced her self from Christian when she was here cause she knows her place she told me that when we I slept over at her house two days before leaving I-I couldn't do anything about it k-kasi wala naman akong alam sa ganyang bagay I-I even heard her crying akala n-nya na tulog na ako but I was awake and I was fully aware that she was crying ilang taon n-na ang lumipas oo pero she's still in pain W-walter s-s-she's still in pain" I started crying my tears won't stop falling Walter was caressing my hand while he was driving
"We all know she's in pain baby alam ko don't cry it's not your fault na wala kang alam stop crying baby please stop crying"
He stopped the car sa side walk and hugged me his warmth comforted me in some way I looked up to him he used his thumb to wipe my tears
"I pray that soon she'll be able to heal from all the pain she's experiencing right now"
He caressed my hair "God will heal her baby it takes time to heal I know that God will do everything to heal her this will just be one of her trials always remember that"
"I will Walter thanks for making me feel better tara na baka naghihintay na sina Leandro at Alex"
He smiled at me and started driving we reached his house after 4 minutes nandoon na sina Leandro at Alex sa library nila Walter nang pumasok kami ni Walter we saw Leandro, Alex, and Markus on their phones parang nag lalaro na naman nang mobile legends
Alex: "T*ngina nag bo-b*bo!"
Leandro: "You f*ckt*ards you don't know how to f*cking play you noobs!"
Markus: "YEAH NOOOOO- k-kuya"
Alex and Leandro looked up from their phones halatang gulat Walter was now glaring at them
"Kayong dalawang mga g*go diba sabi ko meeting hindi ML dahil sa inyo natututo ang kapatid ko nang kabaliwan! Ikaw naman Markus Anthony are you done with your homeworks?!" his voice echoed throughtout the library
Napakaot naman si Markus sa ulo nya "May kulang po ako sa Science kuya... can you and ate help me?"
"Oo naman labas ka muna Markus eat ka muna ha tapos we'll just discuss about something about school tapos me and your kuya will help you make your project okay" sumunod naman agad si Markus he only listens to me and Walter kapag sa ibang tao he's a different person there was this one time na kami ni Walter ang sumundo sa kanya sa school he looked like his kuya he looked cold and emotionless when he went inside Walter's car he became a jolly and noisy kid
Piningot ko naman ang tenga ni Leandro at Alex
"A-Aray Angelica naman masakit" reklamo ni Alex si Leandro naman ngumunguso habang hinahawakan ang tengang piningot ko
"Talagang masasaktan kayong dalawa sa susunod na marinig ko kayong mag mura sa harap man ni Markus o sa ibang tao" pananakot ko sa kanila
"Oo na sorry na ta- ang sakit sorry na" nakakatawa yung mukha nilang dalawa parang mga batang pinagalitan
Tumawa naman si Walter "HAHAHA tara na let's make this a short dicussion"
We discussed about the flow of the whole event I wrote it all down nang matapos kami Leandro and Alex decided to home since magluluto daw ang mama ni Alex kaya nauna na sila I stayed since I promised to help Markus with his homework pumasok na kami ni Walter sa kwarto ni Markus
Umupo kaming dalawa sa kama ni Markus
"So anong homework mo sa science Markus?" tanong ko
"We need to make a small and creative list of the things humans can do to help stop floods and stop pollution with drawing daw po in a white cartolina we can use markers, paint, color pencils, and crayons daw po"
"Okay that's easy I will draw, your ate will research kasi kanina pa nagsusulat ang ate mo, and you'll be the one to write pero before that let's eat dinner" Walter said
We went downstairs we saw Walter's parents arguing umiiyak naman si tita humarap si Walter sa akin at kay Markus
"Angelica can me and my brother stay at your house tonight?"
"Oo naman I'll text mama para maipahanda na nya sa kanila yaya ang guest room"
He nodded and spoke again "Markus pack your some of your clothes, all the stuff you're using for school, the materials for your project, and your hygeine kit Angelica can you please help him too"
I just nodded nagsisigawan na si tita at tito I covered Markus' ears we went inside his room and started packing I packed everything in a hurry I just made Markus sit in his bed while listening to music I packed everything for him I added half of the clothes in his closet dahil baka mapahaba ang stay nila sa bahay namin in less than 7 minutes I finished and hear Walter knocking
I opened the door and I saw na dumudugo ang labi at kilay nya he had his bag on his shoulder he still managed to smile
"Tara na" he grabbed me and his brother out of their house pinasok nya sa likod nang sasakyan ang mga gamit nila ni Markus sumakay na kami sa sasakyan nya and he started driving
"Mama said na doon na daw tayo kumain" he just nodded I looked at Markus at the backseat he was so silent while looking out of the window
I caressed Walter's shoulder's "Everythings gonna be fine Walter"
He smiled but I know he's in pain when we reached our house agad na sinalubong ni mama si Walter at Markus she hugged the both of them umiyak naman si Markus when mama hugged him at the age of ten Markus has been through a lot inakbayan naman ni papa si Walter and guided him inside our house
"Manang paki pasok po nang gamit nila sa guest room tapos paki sabi kay Inday na ibigay sa akin ang first aid kit"
"Sige iha asikasuhin mo na ang mga bisita mo ako na ang bahala"
I saw them at our living room mama was comforting while Walter explained everything that happened to papa
"You are always welcome here sa bahay namin iho wag kayong mahiya Inday yung first aid kit"
I was treating Walter's wound habang pinapakain naman ni mama si Markus sa dining kasama si papa
"Angelica thank you for letting me and my brother stay here"
"Ano ka ba Walter walang problema before you became my suitor kaibigan na kita kaya sa mata ko at nang magulang ko you and your brother are family" I smiled at him and continued cleaning his wound
When I finished cleaning his wounds sumunod na kami kay mama, papa, at Markus sa dining we started eating together
After we ate Walter insisted on helping me do the dishes habang si Markus naman pinaligo ni Walter after we did the dishes we went up sa library to help Markus with his project mabuti naman at okay na si Walter at ang kapatid nya we enjoyed doing his project we finished everything within an hour kasi may additional details na I want to put para naman mataas ang grade na makukuha ni Markus we're now at our entertainment room watching avengers si Walter naman kumuha nang snacks sa baba
"Ate my kuya is courting you right?" nagulat naman ako sa tanong ni Markus
"Ha? uhm yeah" ayoko namang magsinungaling sa bata kaya sinagot ko nalang
"That's good I like you for kuya ate kahit minsan sobrang oa at over protective ni kuya he's a great guy parang tatay ko na kasi si kuya ate just like what he said the first time you went sa bahay namin he was always there for me eversince I was a baby nagulat nga si kuya when he came home ftom Cagayan de Oro papa was already at home galit na galit si kuya noon he didn't come home for a week not until I cried while calling him asking him to come home after 5 minutes he was on our house already" natatawang pa si Markus habang sinasabi yon
"I know Markus your brother never fails to make me happy everyday sa atin lang muna toh ha gusto ko pa kasing maghintay ang kuya mo I am already inlove with your brother each day he makes me fall for him deeper"
"I know ate its in your eyes the way you look at him I know you do I first saw that in my grandparents eyes then I saw it in your eyes and kuya's eyes si mama and papa kasi I know that they're just together for me and kuya and I understand that okay lang naman kahit ako at si kuya lang pero you know what ate I want to be like kuya when I grow up and I will be like kuya I will work hard just to be like kuya he's my hero ate never leave my kuya ate"
I smiled "I won't Markus"
i will never leave Walter NEVER
"care to share what you guys are talking about?" di ko namalayan na pumasok na pala si Walter
"We were talking about you being oa and over protective kuya I remember one time I fell from the swing and got my elbows and knees bruised he brought me to the hospital and got me admitted I was in the hospital for three day ate" natawa naman ako sa sinabi ni Markus
"HAHAHA there was this one time also sa school namin Markus we were playing voleyball for our P.E. my feet had cramps he carried me while running to the clinic and pinagalitan nya lahat nang staff sa clinic he looked like an angry potato kinurot ko sya sa tagiliran kaya tumiggil na sya sa pangsesermon nya sa lahat nang staffs sa clinic HAHAHAHA" naluluha na ako habang tumatawa
"sige lang pagpatuloy nyo lang yan" sabi ni Walter
Markus whispered "Ate let's tickle kuya in 3...2....1"
"GOOOOOOOOO!" sumigaw kami ni Markus and ran towards Walter's direction and started tickling him
"Damn stop HAHAHAHA stop" tawa nang tawa si Walter
Markus and I stopped kumuha kami nang mga unan at sumigaw "PILLOW FIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!!!!!!" pinaghahampas naming dalawa si Walter nang una we were all laughing nagulat kami nang nakita namin si mommy and daddy sa loob nang entertainment room
natawa naman si dad "jusko naman honey they're just playing"
"Why po mom?" nagtatakang tanong ko kay mama
"Akala kasi namin nag aaway at nagrarambulan kayo kasi may sumiigaw dinig kasi kayo sa sala kaya I told your dad na umakyat kami to check on you nga pala tapos na ba ang projet nitong si Markus?"
I smiled mabuti naman at pumayag si mama na dito matulog sina Markus at Walter my parents are both strict pero di naman masyado "yes po ma tapos na po"
"mabuti naman"
"Tita and Tito salamat nga pala at pumayag kayong dito kami matulog nang kapatid ko po" ngumiti nama si dad at mom sa sinabi ni Walter
"Ano ka ba iho your mom's my bestfriend eversince nung highschool kami yun nga lang I had to move to California to study nung college" nalulungot na sabi ni mama
"aside from that I always wanted boys yun nga lang your tita can't bear any kids anymore pero I understood everything kaya I'm happy we have Angelica alam mo bang miracle baby yang si Angelica kaya take care of her and never do anything that will hurt her Walter"
"Dad wag mo naman takutin si Walter" tumawa nalang si dad
"Yes po tito I will never do anything that will hurt Angelica and I will take care of her"
Naginit naman ang buong mukha ko sa sinabi ni Walter
"O sya its 9 matulog kayo before 11 ha may classes pa kayo bukas" nagpaalam na si mom at dad sa amin
We decided to continue the movie sa kwarto ko since I had a big sofa sa kwarto ko at may tv din doon the movie is almost finished when I looked at walter and markus tulog na silang dalawa I turned the tv off and got extra blankets for them kinumutan ko silang dalawa Walter was sitting while habang ang ulo naman ni Markus ay na sa paa ni Walter, Walter really loves his brother.
Humiga na ako sa kama ko at nag dasal after praying I went to sleep.
