Angelica's Point of View
It's now Monday, I had fun when we went to Leandro's family resort pero di pa rin mawala sa isip ko si Walter, I don't know the reason behind his fight with Leandro pero it's very unusal sabi pa nga ni Stacey they were like brothers, they never had a fight with each other...not even once.
I was here in the parking lot, waiting for Walter to come, kahit text o tawag wala kaming natanggap mula sa kanya ever since Saturday, kaya kanina sinabihan ko sina Stacey na mauna na, and it has been eight minutes wala pa din si Walter I looked at the time in my phone it was 8:40am at 20 minutes lang magsisimula na ang klase namin at sa kasamaang palad we had to go to the Science lab. I was getting bored and I thought he was never gonna show up so I walked papunta sa elevator nang school, but then someone grabbed my hand
"Grabe ka naman ang bilis mong maglakad, I had a hard time parking since there was a clueless new student who parked in my spot so we had an arguement" sabi ni Walter he looked really good wearing our school uniform
"I thought di ka dadating" sabi ko
"It's basically the first day of lecture I shouldn't be absent" sabi nya, "Tara na" sabi nya and together we went inside the elevator.
Classroom
Pagdating namin sa classroom we could hear our classmates talking, good thing wala pa yung teacher namin, pumunta na kami ni Walter sa upuan namin and Leandro was shocked na sabay kami ni Walter pumasok, while Walter had a smirk in his face.
"Angelica about what I told you na babawi ako sa'yo do you wanna go to the mall after classes and have dinner?" tanong ni Walter
"Uhm, wait I'll text my mom and ask if pwede." sabi ko and got my phone
To:Mommy
Ma, Walter asked me if I could go with him to the mall and was it okay if we had dinner together?
I texted her and mama being busy scrolling on what ever social media she's using replied instantly
From:Mommy
Yeah, sure just be home by 9:30 I'll ask the driver to pick your car up later
That was unusual she didn't really want me to hang out with boys alone or with friends but I guess she's okay with Walter since he's like a family friend na din
"So what did your mom say?" he asked looking nervously
"She said no" I told him and saw him frown
"Oh..okay maybe next- I didn't let him finish and started laughing
"HAHAHAHAHA you should've seen your face HAHAHAHAHA it's epic" I said while laughing
"What do you mean?" he asked. I stopped laughing and fixed myself.
"Mommy said yes as long as you take me home at 9:30, and that she'll ask the driver to pick up my car" I said he somehow looked relieved
"Akala ko pa naman na hindi papayag si tita" he said
"I was shocke when she said "yes" kasi naman when I was in my old school she never allowed me to go out with classmates if may kasamang lalaki...I guess she trusts you" sabi ko
"Yep, Ma'am Bernardo is here" he said and sat properly
"Good Morning class" ma'am Bernardo greeted
"Good Morning Ma'am Bernardo" we all greeted her back
"So today I expected you all to have your lab coats with you, let us check your attendance first before we proceed to the laboratory" Ma'am Bernardo said and started checkig our attendance.
After checking our attendance we proceeded to the labratory and it smelled like something died
"Okay class so today I will discuss the parts of a frog we have a dead frog over here that I dissected yesterday for ou topic today" she said
Magkatabi kami ni Walter dahil ang sabi nya our seatmate would also be our lab partner
"Damn no wonder it smelled like sh*t in here" sabi nya
"Walter your language nandyan si ma'am" sabi ko
"Yeah sorry" sabi ko
"By the way when's your birthday?" I asked
"May 15, how 'bout you?" he asked
"July 16, so your two months older than me" I said
"Yep and my brother's birthday is just a day after your bithday July 17" he said
"Woah that's nice" I said
"Ms Gonzales stand up and tell me what is a nictating membrane?" tanong ni Ma'am Benardo habang nakataas ang kilay
"The Nictating Membrane is one of the three frog eyelids covering the eyes" sabi ko
"Mr Arkinson stand up and tell me what is a tympanic membrane?" tanong ni ma'am kay Walter
"Based on what you said a tympanic membrane is the circular feature behind the eyes of the frog, we maybe be talking Ma'am Bernardo but we are listening to your topic" sabi ni Walter
"It is a disrespect to talk when someone is talking Mr.Arkinson at kahit anak ka pa nang may ari you must be disciplined" she said
"As far as I remeber Ma'am Bernardo I was once a representative and captain of the school's debate team and as I debating against another school you were flirting with another teacher from another school who's married with my Aunt, if you want to report me Ma'am Bernardo you can I give my respect to those who deserving of my respect and you aren't old too pero pumapatol ka sa Uncle ko who's 10 times older than you and who's married" sabi ni Walter napanganga naman si Ma'am Bernardo
"C-class dismissed" nanginginig na sabi ni Ma'am Bernardo it was time for our snack break sabay kaming lumabas ni Walter
"Seriously she did that?!" I hysterically asked
"Oo, she did and alam nyang may asawa na si Uncle" sabi ni Walter habang naglalakad kami
"She had the audacity to do that" I said
"yep, let's stop talking about her I am 100% digusted and I am famished tara sa labas tayo kumain our Math teacher is absent we can stay at a cafe nearby" Walter said, "Okay let's leave our stuff at our locker" sabi ko at after namin pumunta sa locker room we went to the cafe which was at the back of the universites parking lot it was a really nice cafe we went to the cashier to order
"Angelica what are you gonna order, I'll pay? Walter asked
"No, I can pay for mine" I said
"I insist" he said
"Okay then I'll have a mocha frappe and a blueberry cheesecake" sabi ko kay walter
"Okay, Ms two mocha frappe, one blueberry cheesecake and an ultimate burger" sabi ni Walter "Angelica find a booth where we can sit"
"Okay" sabi ko each booth was big and there were pillows and carpets in each one and had a round table and an outlet for charging
I sat at a booth near the window and waited for Walter after a minute Walter came with our orders and we started eating
"The food and place is really great and tahimik din" sabi ko
"Yup it's my favorite place actually it gives me peace" sabi nya
"So ano ba talaga nangyari sa inyo ni Leandro?" tanong ko
"I have to clear things out with myself before I tell you, and I promise to tell you when I figure those things out" sabi nya
"Okay" sabi ko and continued eating
"What's our next class?" Walter asked
"History my favorite subject call me boring but it is my favorite" I said
"I wouldn't call you boring, but don't tell this to anyone History is m favorite subject too" sabi nya
"Wala sa mukha mo" sabi ko
"Alam ko" sabi nya
Dismissal
Finally our classes are done I am here at the gym waiting for Walter dahil may announcement ang coach nila sa basketball, I was currently reading a book in wattpad The Rain in Espana natawa ako sa part where Kalix said to Luna presyong ex sixty million, presyong asawa libre. Di ko namalaya na tapos na pala si Walter
"Why are you laughing?" he asked and I told him about the TRIE and he laughed as well
"Tara na it's 5:30 we better head to the mall" sabi nya
"Okay tara" sabi ko and we went to the parking lot
He drove to SM we went inside a fine dining restaurant
"Reservation for Walter Arkinson" sabi nya sa staff
"This way sir and ma'am" he said and led us to the VIP area
Me and Walter sat at a table with food there was steak, brocolli with mushroom sauce, pasta alfredo, and garlic parmesan chicken
"You really prepared for this didn't you" I said
"Yep, sice I promised na babawi ako so here it is I hope you enjoy the food though" he said
"Ofcourse I would everytime my family eats here these are tmy favorites" sabi ko
"You were wondering why your mom was cool with it I went to your house to personally ask her if it would be okay to take you out for dinner and asked about yur favorites as well, kaya ako na late" he said while holding his nape with his left hand
"Now I know why mom was so cool about this" I shockingly said
"Yep, now let's eat before the food gets cold" sabi ni Walter and we started eating after that we went to an ice cream parlor for dessert I had bubblegum ce cream while he had plain chocolate ice cream
"Di ka masyadong ready" sabi ko
"Oo na, I just wanted to make up to you for being such a bad date" he said
"Ano ka ba it was just a party" sabi ko
"Jessy was really drunk and her mom said she sprained her ankle so they told me to drive her home since they had to host the party and I also had a hard time going home since Jessy wanted me to stay her, so I stayed for a bit she flirted a lot pero I never flirted back, it was 12 when her parents came home they asked me to stay for their daughter I declined the next day they told me to come over kasi ayaw daw ni Jessy pumasok kung hindi ako ang kasama but then the incident happened we found out her ankle wasn't sprained, I went home and saw Jessy and her mom at our house talkin to my mom convincinhg my mom to marry me off with her daughter which my mom declined since she knew I hated Jessy's guts, Jessy threw a tantrum my mom was annoyed pina alis sila ni mom and lectured Jessy's mom to teach her daughter some manners" he said
"You are so detailed" sabi ko
"Yes, because I am explaining everything to you" he said
"Yeah I understand now, Jessy and her mom could really be a pain in the butt" sabi ko and took a spoonful of my ice cream
"They really are" sabi ni Walter
We finished our ice cream, Walter spoke "Tara mag laro tayo sa arcade"
"Okay sure"sabi ko
We're currently here at the arcade and he got me all three of the we bare bears stuff toy grizzly, panda, and ice bear. We played the game where we shoot zombies, played basketball, we tried all the games, and now we were at the photo booth. We took silly photos, I was really having fun.
"Walter tara sa horror house" sabi ko
"W-wag na we can play bowling" sabi nya halatang takt all the colors of his face were gone
"Takot ka noh?" tanong ko
"No tara sa horror house" he said and bought a ticket we went inside the horror house may nakita kaming white lady, grunge, at iba pang nakakatakot na mga taong naka costume at make up
Paglabas namin nag horror house I bought water for Walter since he was really pale halatang takot
"Water" I said and gave it to him
"Thanks" he said and finished the whole bottle in just a minute
"I admit na natakot ako dun" sabi nya at tumawa
"Knew it" sabi ko tumawa na din
"Tara bowling" sabi nya, tumayo sya at nag stretch
"Tara" sabi ko at ayun nag bowling kami we were both good
We claimed our prize we got two matching necklaaces with a basketball pendant and a 4'11 bear
"Tara na it's almost your curfew and the mall is about to close too" sabi nya
"Okay" sabi ko and we both headed to the parking lot
He opened the car door for me and waited for me to go inside before gently closing it and he sat in the driver's seat and started driving to my house
"Angelica we're here" Walter gently said "Sorry,nakatulog pala ako" sabi ko
"Nah its okay we just arrived" sabi nya
"Walter salamat" sabi ko
"Para?" he asked looking confused
"For today" I said and smiled
"Kulang pa yon Angelica at salamat din" sabi nya
"For what?" I asked
"I can't tell you yet but I promise...soon I will pumasok ka na" sabi nya di na ako nagtanong
"Goodnight Walter" sabi ko
"Goodnight Angelica, sweet dreams" sabi nya ngumiti ako at pumasok na sa bahay namin
"Oh nandito ka na pala anak" sab ni mama
"Good evening ma" I said and kissed her cheek
"So how was it?" tanong ni mama
"It was great" I said and smiled
"Ikaw anak ha crush mo si Walter noh" sabi ni mama while raising her brows up and down
"N-no, I d-don't ma" sabi ko
Damn why am I stuttering
"been there anak, ganyan din kami nang papa mo nag simula" sabi ni mama
"I'll g-go ahead to my room ma I still have classes toorrow" I said and ran to my room muntik pa akong madapa sa stairs and I heard mama laugh
I was done wahing myself when I received a text from Walter
From: Walter
Hey Angelica just wanna thank you again for tonight... and I hope you enjoyed
That's all see you tomorrow, good night and sweet dreams Angelica.
