Demona watched it all.
The voice . . . It was coming from the heart of the tree. She did not see it but he saw it all. Desdemona had unconsciously corrupted the tree's core, so darkness could communicate through it, or if possible, take over the control from the tree.
A darker aura began to fill the cave, taking control of theinds of each and everyone of the little creatures.
'No!' Demona did not hear himself exclaim lowly.
Demona knew that aura anywhere.
"Phelizar!" He said, breathlessly.
The last word he heard before jerking out of the vision confirmed his fears.
"Come to me . . ."
The instruction was to them all, and the voice was Phelizar's.

The wall cut off the remaining part of the incident, so Demona did not see what transpired after.
Desdemona began to groan in pain. Her head was in a battle for control. Not only her, but the little animals that surrounded the tree.
