The walls were shaking and part of it was cracking. Ruby was about falling, Rose seemed to be regretting and I was stuck in the mess of these 'adventurous' ladies.
We narrowly escaped falling into the pit. Ruby and Rose were still recovering from the shock. While we stood, surrounding the the pit closest to the wall, Ruby rested her hands with a striking pose, breathing heavily. Rose rested on her knees, exhibiting the same reaction. I also in the same mood rested my back against the wall with my arms folded and my gaze fixed to the ground.
"So...what next?" I asked, breaking the silence. I expected Rose to reply because she got us into this mess. Ignoring their non-response, I asked.
"Are you girls alright?"
"Yeah..." Ruby replied, stretching her body, shaking away the fear she had.
"I'm alright."
I starred at Rose who wasn't saying anything. She looked like she was waiting for something.
