The legendary musketeer confuses everyone!
— Why are little musketeers like you walking around Fosigua as if it were Eden? - shouts the fighter at the two soldiers, then points at the yetis - They were supposed to find me, not you!
— ... What is he talking about? — whisper the wounded musketeers in unison, still not understanding.
Then the yetis finally assimilated the kyapen's presence.
— Look, it's the busybody, brother! He's come to be eaten too.
— How did he appear so quickly...
Renāto turns to the yetis, looking disappointed.
— Don't move and keep quiet. I'll be back in a moment.
Then he stands up, stretching briefly.
— Sorry about the unexpected, gentlemen. These irresponsible youngsters won't be bothering you anymore. I had a whole strategy to use on you, but apparently, I'm going to have to improvise.
— Are you joking us, well-dressed? We won't let you out of our sight this time.
— Prepare to become butter!
The yetis set off towards Renāto, carrying their bone clubs in their hands. They strike Renāto with a synchronized blow from top to bottom. However, the musketeer intercepts the bones, each with a different hand, as if those giant clubs were nothing. As he does so, the kyapen mutters to himself.
— It wasn't supposed to be like this. What do I do now? Well, that magic jab isn't ready yet. The creeper needs energizing with pure blue. The needle I'm going to use in the tournament... Oh, sure!
Then suddenly, an aura emanating a strong vapor, half red and half blue, begins to flow from Renāto's body. He closes his eyes as a sign of concentration and the nervousness of before turns into calm. The yetis continue to force their clubs into him but to no avail.
— Look, kid! There's something happening with Renāto! - Lup exclaims.
Telly begins to stare at the fighter contemplatively, and he soon realizes what is happening to the kyapen.
— So this is the real Dentō...
[Dentō: The Nejireta of tradition. It is present in all the residents of Araukaria, but few have mastered it completely].
As the musketeers observe the greatness of the Dentō, Renāto concentrates the aura of his fists on the bases of the bones, piercing each bone and trapping them in his hands. He pulls the bones from the Yetis' hands and pushes back, preparing an attack.
— I don't understand anything, brother! How did he do that?
— This Little Blue is different from the other well-dressed ones. Time to use the icy breath!
Then the two yetis open their mouths and let loose a blast of ice towards the musketeer. Renāto uses the bones as if they were stilts and the bones absorb all the ice, as if the magic emanating from them attracted all the elemental power.
— Nice clubs, guys — sneers Renāto, upside down and leaning on the bones — My turn to use them!
The musketeer picks up momentum and is launched into the air, as if in a pole vault competition, towards the giants. In the air, he positions the bones vertically and applies a double blow to the side of the two yetis' heads, releasing all the energy stored in the clubs. The yetis collide and fall unconscious from the powerful blow.
The eyes of the two young musketeers light up when they see what Renāto has just done.
— I'd expect nothing less from a legendary musketeer, kid!
— Impressive... It's been a long time since I've seen you fight like that. Well, i think that i never see you fight like that.
Renāto removes the bones from his fists and articulates them as if he's checking that they're all right.
— The Dentō doesn't have to be used only to hit someone directly — Renāto points out to the two of them — Blows like that are very predictable. It can also be used to use your opponent's strength against himself. Keep this lesson with you.
— Thank you for saving us, master.
— I think that if it weren't for you...
— You can thank me later — says the kyapen, looking at the fallen yetis — Now, if you don't mind, I want each of you to drag a yeti and follow me.
Maybe that way you'll improve your Dentō.
Lup and Telly look at each other, still bruised from the impact caused by the giants. They get up with great effort, stumbling and leaning on each other.
— But sir stammered Lup I don't think we're in any condition to...
Then, suddenly, he and Telly faint. Renāto sighs, tucks them both under his arms and follows a drawn trail.
— Damn. Just today I wanted some fresh yeti meat. I hope I can come back later and salvage something...
Moving away from the site, he sees the yetis still lying at the bottom, and the giant bones with a hole at the end, a two-colored steam coming out of the holes where Renāto had embedded his fists.
The true strength of a musketeer!
