Henry tried so hard to protect his daughter, Charlotte, on her fifth birthday, since he heard about the bodies that were found. He even made an advanced animatronic to help protect her. He did his best, but in the end, she got locked out of the restaurant by a bully, and the bully blocked the animatronics' exit with gift boxes. Meanwhile, Dave had, coincidentally, started to drive away from Fredbear's, as the scene was playing out. He saw Charlotte in the alleyway and saw it as an opportunity. So, he drove into the alleyway, and walked up to Charlotte. Then, he led her past the window, and proceeded to choke her to death with his gloves on. He quickly vacuumed the remnant with his machine and drove back to William's house. He walked into the house, to see Jennifer watching the television. "Leave him alone tonight. He had a rough day." Jennifer says. Dave ignores her and walks down the hall to Jeremy's door and knocks on it. Over the years, Dave has realized that now that he has a child from William's wife, he can conduct psychological experiments on the child. Like, being caring one day, and being horrible the next day. To him, everything is just a game of manipulation and pretend. "I told you not to close your door." He says. "This is my house; he can't ignore me like that." He says to himself. "OPEN THE DOOR!" He yells, as he bangs on the door. "I'll find a way in from outside..." He says to himself, before he walks outside and into the backyard. He then sees footprints and a broken window. "Ran off to that place again. He will be sorry when he gets back." He says to himself.
Jeremy tried to sneak back into the house, but Dave was waiting inside his room. "What were you doing out past your curfew, Jeremy?" Dave says sternly. "D-dad, I'm sorry! I just wanted an escape from my horrible day at school!" Jeremy says, almost in tears. "I don't care, Jeremy! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT COULD HAPPEN AT THAT PLACE! FOR ALL YOU KNOW, THOSE LEGENDS COULD BE TRUE!" Dave yells. "But dad, it's the only place where I feel like I can truly be relaxed." Jeremy says, with tears in his eyes. "Are you saying that you don't feel comfortable here?" Dave asks. There is a brief moment of silence. "Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. Especially since, you always get like this. One day you're caring and the next day you act like this!" Jeremy says. "You ungrateful little child. I'm trying to protect you..." Dave says. "FROM WHAT? DANGERS THAT MIGHT NOT EVEN EXIST?" Jeremy exclaims. "Even if that story IS made up, there are still people that could do many other horrible things. Kidnappers, pedophiles, psychopaths. Anything, anytime, anywhere! Do you understand me?" Dave says. "Y-yes...I... I'm sorry, dad..." Jeremy says. "That's what I thought..." Dave says, before he starts to walk out of the door. "And Jeremy, you're grounded." Dave says and closes the door. Jeremy lays down on his bed and starts to cry. "I have to be strong." He says to himself. "I have... to be... strong." He says to himself again. Eventually, he fell asleep.
