"I've called Max and the others for assistance. Don't worry Cat. We know where he's headed. He's just an eight-" Alex tried to talk her off the ledge and Cat glanced at him vexedly.
"Don't tell me to calm down, Alex." She bit out unhurriedly stressing each syllable. "I'm going to lock that little hellion up in that mansion of ours and throw away the key when I find him."
"Cat-" Alex sighed.
"He's been so good for a while now. I promised him, Alex. I told him I would get Mia back safe and sound but then you had to go mess it up with your I'm-the-man-in-charge attitude."
"Are you seriously trying to pick a fight with me over coming up with a better plan that gives us the maximum chance to keep you and the little angel safe?" He raised an eyebrow at her trying his best to intimidate her into submission.
