"How did they manage to find out where you were?"
"I don't know. The deed of sale to Redemption is buried under layers of shell companies and fake names," Alex stated matter-of-factly.
"You're confessing that to a Federal Agent?" Max intoned in mock surprise.
"Not like I've done worse things for said Federal Agent."
"Touche."
"Well...?" Alex asked impatiently getting to the core of the matter.
"How are they taking it?" Max asked instead.
"Mia was shaken and scared but Luke and Cat seemed to have taken it...in stride," He spoke softly.
"What does that mean?" Max asked cautiously.
"We didn't talk about it. But Cat seemed to think that it was the work of some psychopath while Luke was more...interested in his friend's welfare."
