After coming back home, the doctor who'd checked out Cat after she was attacked in his office was called to take his family's thorough check-up. Alex was adamant that he should be treated last as he wanted the best and soonest possible care for Cat and Luke.
Trying to argue him out of the insane notion since he'd sustained the most injuries trying to keep the wolves at bay, literally was a lost cause when he'd suddenly grabbed onto the wall to steady himself. The good doctor had shown good sense and immediately cleared Luke as being physically fit. Cat and he had known that for a fact but still breathed a little better when the doctor had announced the results. Cat was given a few pain killers and ointments to apply for when she'd injured her left leg from being bucked off like a Bronc-rider gone rogue. She'd also sustained some deep scratches and a big gash on the side of her ribs courtesy of the grey-furred beast.
