Alex was fucking it up. This was not the way to smoothen things over. Cat had entrusted him with their son and even called upon a truce. Luke had already been poisoned against Cat with who-knew-what horrible stories regarding his abandonment.
How could a monster raise an innocent child? His own flesh and blood? And fill his head with lies and half-truths designed solely to manipulate and command him? It made his blood boil and his head burst with numbing rage. But since he couldn't bring Cameron Navarr back to life only to make him confess his sins and condemn him to hell again, the next best thing he could do was challenge Luke's existing beliefs and try to change his mind to make him see the truth.
