"C'mon Cat hurry. We'll be late," Luke shouted at her from the car as she helped Mandrake and Eric to get their bags down. They'd driven over to her place that morning to pack and move her things since she'd accepted the Lord Arrogant Ass's oh-so-gracious offer. It had taken them more time than expected as Luke seemed to inspect every corner of her house without being too obvious about it. Cat had given him a quick rundown about Max and how she'd come to live there. Then Eric had strolled in on seeing the commotion. She'd made Alex's minions wait outside while she gathered up whatever was essential to take along with her.
Meanwhile, Luke had taken to Eric with weariness and disdain. He'd looked at her accusingly and interrogated Eric, "Who are you?"
Cat had introduced her neighbor, "Sweetie, this is Eric. He's my neighbor and he'll be leaving soon," Cat gave a death-glare to her former friend and came to stand between them.
